The media could not be loaded.  I really like this kettle. It looks really nice and it boils water quickly. I timed it this morning as I was making my tea. It boiled .5 liter (about 2 cups) in 2.25 mins. Then I filled it to the max. line - 1.7 liters and it took about 6 1/2 mins. It's cool how you can see right through as the water boils! Good value.

I have been using this daily for the last 8 months and it works perfectly. People complained about the smell/taste, It did have a strong smell to start with so I ran some vinegar water through it , followed by washing with some dish detergent and a good rinsing. The smell is almost totally gone now but it never did affect the taste of the water. As to people complaining about rust, the solution is simple: once you have poured the boiling water into your tea or whatever, empty the rest of the water into the sink, leave the lid up, and replace the kettle on its base. Any remaining moisture quickly evaporates, and there is not a touch of rust to be seen.It is very attractive. I like it better than the plastic ones I had in the past. I am totally satisfied with it.

our last kettle was plastic and after 12 years of use it cracked one day. We decided to replace it with this stainless kettle. Things we like: it heats quickly, the cord is long enough to pull out from under the cabinets, it matches our other appliances and looks pretty nice. The one complaint is once the water boils it's burn your skin hot if you touch the metal anywhere - I know I shouldn't complain, but this is just a warning to be careful with it as it's on a counter top and you or someone I your household may accidentally touch it. So far two of us have burned ourselves on it so we have started moving it way out of the way so it doesn't happen again (need to leave it available in a house of tea drinkers).Otherwise it's been a good buy and priced well compared to others.

I haven't had this long but after my initial uses, I really like it. I've gone through 2 Aroma electric kettles (one the auto switch stopped working and the other the lid locked in place and eventually wouldn't open - done with that brand). This Brewberry seems to be built better than my old Aromas. The chord is a good thick chord and the base looks more substantial. I like the design too. When I pop the top it has a much wider access area making it much easier to clean and fill. The water level readouts are easy to see and on both sides so you can turn it in either direction and still see the water level. It came to a boil quickly too. So far very happy with this product.

Okay, if I was rating this kettle for aesthetics I would have to give it 5 stars as it has in fact a great design and it looks fabulous on my counter. However, as a kettle is about more than just aesthetics I have to rate it accordingly. Now, some reviewers said it was really fast, but I didn't find it any faster that other I have tried before, with the downside that it is really noisy - normally kettles become noisy as they are about to start boiling, but this one is noisy throughout. And this isn't even an issue for me, but I think it's got to be here so people looking to buy this kettle are fully aware of what they are purchasing. The main issue, and the reason for the 1 star rating, is the safety or lack thereof. It says in the kettle description that the handle is cool to touch, they just forgot to mention that this is a stainless steel without double walls which means that the whole rest of it, apart from the handle, WILL scald you as soon as you touch it for any reason while picking it up or putting it back. And if you never had one that does this, trust me, even though you know, you will scald yourself because you will keep on forgetting. Also, and as a minor issue, but one that should not exist on a product of this value, though I have been emptying fully every time it still started getting limescale at the bottom after very few uses. All in all, it works but it's a scalding liability.

I did quite a bit of research on electric kettles before I chose the Brewberry. And, I'm glad to report, the research paid-off! This is a great product that does exactly what I need.....if brings water to a boil and, then, shuts-off. Perfect. I don't need different temperatures for different uses, i.e., oolong vs. green tea. I just need hot water. The Brewberry Cordless Electric Kettle 1.71 is perfect. Also, it is a tremendous value here at Amazon. I highly recommend this electric kettle to anyone who, simply, wants hot water from a kettle that is easy to use and understand. Oh, and, it's FAST!

Excellent product. Does exactly what you need it do and looks elegant while doing it. Love that you can see the water level. We took out the removable filter to avoid some of the issues other reviews mentioned and so far have had no issues. . The handle is well insulated and prevents me from burning my hand when I pour it which is perfect since I'm a total Klutz. We used it all winter and have had zero problems.

I love this pot.It is stainless and very well made,the heating element is covered so no trouble cleaning around it while cleaning the pot.The round base makes it easy to place the pot back on it.It matches all the stainless items in my kitchen as if they were made for each other.Revised:Though I really loved this pot,and it worked very good until it didn't.It died today,less than a year old,so I find I am disappointed with that and will not order another one from this company.
