I have a giant very hairy dog. Black Russian Terrier massive and this covered her nicely after her bath and absorb enough water to let her loose and not kill my hardwood floors. She is a show dog. After an hour of letting her wear it. I then took a hand held hair dryer to her and completely drying her was pretty quick. Much quicker then if I hadn't used this great doggie towel. Covers her nicely. I have another dog towel and that one is nice too , but o had to get creative to be able to use that other one since my doggie is massive. This worked right out of the box. Keeps her looking amazing. I wash my dog about once per month. She has a lot of hair, imagine New Foundland size, but with a poodle texture.

I bought 3 of these for my dogs to use post shower. Normally I dry them off with towels but they still manage to get water everywhere when they shake. The idea was to dry them off and then let the robes take care of the shaking.I was really impressed with the quality of the robes when I unpacked them but when I tried them on my dogs I found out that each robe was too big. The problem is I measured each dog, twice, making sure they were standing up straight and then I checked the sizing chart three times to make sure I was ordering the correct size. I initially thought that the recommended size was too large which is why I double and triple checked my measurements and the size chart. But in the end, I decided to go with what the sizing chart recommended since doggie clothing sizes can vary widely. Sadly, even though my dogs fell well within the size measurements for the robes I ordered, they don't fit, and according to the printed return policy the robes can't be returned because I tried them on my dogs. Not exactly sure how you can make sure the robes fit without trying them on but it is what it is.Even if I could exchange them for the next size smaller, I'm not sure those would fit either since according to the sizing chart, the chest/belly strap would be too short. It's frustrating when the size chart says something should fit and it doesn't. So, I'm going to try and add some extra Velcro to the robes so the straps will have something to hold unto and hopefully that will fix the problem. Adding extra Velcro seems an easier fix than trying to lengthen the straps on the smaller sizes.Bottom line, if you are thinking of ordering these for your dog and the size chart says your dog needs a size much larger than what they normally wear, I would recommend calling the seller before you order.Bottom line

This is the first “coat/blanket” to fit my great dane length wise. All the blankets i buy him stop at his hips, but this one fits perfectly! My dane is 34-35 inches base of neck to base of tail, and this covers allllll of him! And for the price- its the best find ever. He wears it after baths, when its cold and when he is sore and needs some warmth. (I have the 3x size for him) its actually a little big in the girth, but doesn't move or twist. So if you have a big dane or mastiff, I recommend this!!

Bought two of these for my older Westies. I noticed when my female gets out of the pool, even during our winters in FL, she shivers. I started using the drying towel and problem solved!! I am going to purchase two more for our home in NH! Very good quality and it dries both dogs off quickly because they are so absorbent! Very pleased with how they work.

This is very absorbent and well made. It prevents water being splashed on the walls after a bath and my dog dries more quickly than previously. My dog is long-haired and rather long, so I bought a size 2X, but it was too long. It was easily returned and the XL fits perfectly. I like that it doesn't fasten around the tail because my dog has virtually no tail at all.

This towel jacket is absolutely amazing, I have tried numerous drying towels that all appear to be the same, no different than a bath towel. The Sea Dog Pro Dog Drying Towel dries the double coated dog in a very short time. I will order more in other sizes as I want to always have one available for puppies and adults!

First one was to large. No problem returning it and getting the right size. I've used it several times and it works very well.

Towel runs big. I measured my dog and ordered the size that was recommended. The chest size is way too big. It does dry well and if t fit better I would like it much better.
