First, we were unable to fit the usb into it, the inner gap was twisted so please check before you push the usb into it. We nearly damaged an expensive equipment. Second thing; the connection tend to drop, again, it could be due to a twist within the inner compartment so not using it anymore, invested more to get an alternative option.

I find this short USB 3.0 extension lead to be just the job for connecting USB devices to the rear of our smart TV.The TV usb sockets are tricky to reach and obscured by other cables. This extension lead makes life so much easier!The cable appears to be well made and I have no complaints ☺️

I thought inserting the USB dongle multiple times to the USB port on my home cinema projector may damage the port. So I purchased this product on amazon. The cable looks good and simple, but it was not working from the day one. To be sure, I tried it with my laptop and the TV . It did not work in either of these. I wanted to return this one. But I heard that Amazon will deactivate our account if number of returns are more . So I put it in the bin, as it is a relatively cheap item. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great product. Good quality, works well. Relieves the stress of continually plugging and unplugging USBs in the PC/TV/whatever's own socket. I've found a dvd player useless after USB wear made the contact unreliable. If this wears out it's cheaply replaced, a soldered part on a circuit board in the bowels of a PC is a different matter.

These extension cables are long enough and sturdy enough for most applications. I have recently upgraded my desktop computer ( although sited under my desk !) so needed some additional extension cables to add my disc drive and mass storage device, and these cables do the job nicely.
