If you have a DIC-20 you get approximately 300 gallons of water before you have to change out your resin. Again it depends on your water quality. On a average car you use approximately 10 gallons of water or if you have a SUV or a truck you typically use approximately 20 gallons of water for a final rinse only. Since I don't know what your TDS level is I can only give you approximately how much water you might be using for final rinses only. Once the old resin stops working, replace it with new. Screw of the top of white cylinder, dump old resin, clean out cylinder and replace with new.
