Good product, did what i needed.

Bought this to connect a graphics/drawing tablet this requiring an HDMI connection to my PC which only has 1 HDMI port. Connected the displayport end to a free displayport socket on my PC and the HDMI end to the HDMI port on the drawing tablet. PC recognised the tablet with no problems. A friend of mine with the same issue bought a slightly cheaper adaptor, only to find it wouldn't plug into their displayport socket fully, so couldn't connect. After trying mine and it working with zero problems, I bought one of these for them too.

Great conversion cable from port to hdmi.

Bought this as I needed to connect another monitor to my PC and had no free HDMI ports left.Picture quality is great. No compatibility problems at all, it worked straight out the box.From what I’ve seen it’s indistinguishable from just using an HDMI cable without it. I haven’t experienced any lag or issues with latency. However, it is just being used with a secondary monitor so it is not being put under much stress.The sound works well, no different to just using the HDMI cable without the converter.It’s a reasonable size but it could be a little longer and have a slightly thicker insulation on the wire, as you can feel the individual wires and it’s a little flimsy but it does what it needs to do.

Not sure if it’s the cable or port that’s an issue . Didn’t work for me in trying to get an older monitor to connect to a newer laptop .

If you're using this directly from your output display port via a HDMI cable to your HDMI input.... it works no problem, however, if you connect it to a 3way HDMI splitter like I did the signal doesn't pass through to the monitor. This is a passive adapter. You will need an active version instead.
