Great quality
I bought these to help with some rub points that I have for me being an inexperienced brake line bender. The product is very well built goes on great. Has plenty of stretch and spring so you can push your spring back to get your fitting and flare on, especially if you have one of the nicer flaring tools that has a big die set. One thing being said about this is there's no possible way to get them on if you have both ends. flared and your nuts installed so something to consider if you're buying this or if you're going to build your brake lines

Great Brake Line Covering
Great Stainless Covering for Brake Lines. Easy to install even on bends. A bit hard to cut but it is to be expected on Stainless Steel.

Strong rock guard, makes your copper nickel brake lines look good
Recently redid my brake lines with the newer copper nickel lines and wanted to keep the factory style rock guard, this fit the bill perfectly. Once installed, runs with thia rock guard look factory, even when using the copper looking lines the stainless dominates the appearance, show wise it is a good way to hide that you are using the newer copper nickel lines. When installing you will need to compress the material if you want it from end to end. This is really one long spring, as long as you have about 24" run or longer it is easy enough to compress to allow flaring of the 2nd end. You may be asking why this is only available in stainless, why not regular steel or copper nickel? I suspect it is a cost vs sales vs functionality thing. Regular steel may be marginally cheaper but then it will not last nearly as long. Copper nickel as a rock guard may not be strong enough. Stainless makes the most sense.

Animal Proof!
I put this on my truck because there is a mouse around my house that seems to be addicted to gasoline. I found this out when I pulled up to get more fuel and the Costco attendant came running over thinking I was pumping gas on the ground (like I could afford that!). He looked under I truck and said that someone had cut my gas line! Eeeks! I got the truck home and jacked it up and found that there were more droppings and a hole nibbled into the line. I cut it apart and put some smurf tubing in and barbed the connections together. That didn't work because two weeks later another section was cut. Gas addiction must be a strong urge in mice. I am privileged (?) to have house bunnies, and they have an addiction to electricity, chewing through power cables like licorice. I put this on the 4th lamp cable and now they sit there, discussing how to get through, frustrated that they can't get the cutting torch to work. While this is made to keep brake lines from breaking, it works great! PS, the mouse is in rehab and the bunnies now unplug the lamp from the wall.

Excellent product. Fits 5/16" steel tubing perfectly
Excellent product. Fits 5/16" steel tubing perfectly. Used it for my transmission lines to give them protection + a clean look. These are definitely stainless steel as they're VERY hard to cut with pliers. Man hands required. Don't forget to leave your flared tube ends until last... otherwise you'll have a heck of a time getting this product over your flares + tube fittings!
