Pretty good. Lovely scent, but seems already diluted.
Very thin - this is already diluted - you wouldn't want to dilute it any further - that's the reason for the lost star. But the scent is very lovely on the skin. It does smell a little weird while you're washing with it, but the scent it leaves is heavenly. I feel it's a little too pricey for how thin it was - if it was like most other castile soaps that I've used and a bit thicker in viscosity/strength, it would be a 5 star product. But if you like the scents of both patchouli and rose, this really does shine in this product. I know some folks have said it's hard to smell the rose - it is a bit hard to detect it during washing, but again, where this one shines is the scent it leaves behind, and you can very definitely smell a perfect blend of rose and patchouli once you're done washing. Note: I've only used it for hand washing and as a bodywash, and it's perfect for that even if it's a bit thin.

The rose utterly ruins the patchouli scent and the soap is as thin and runny as water.
I wanted to like the patchouli rose soap, but I just couldn't. I loved how clean it left my skin feeling yet that's the only good thing about it. It's so thin and runny that it'll easily get washed away. It has no ability to really stay, it'll pretty easily run through shower poofs or washcloths if you aren't careful and immediately begin lathering things up. The scent was also disappointing, there's some patchouli in there, sure, yet the floral scent of rose absolutely does not go with patchouli at all. As I got further down the bottle, despite trying to keep it mixed every time I used it, the scent at the last finger's width or so of soap wasn't pleasant at all.I can't recommend this, I wish they had a version that was *just* the patchouli, I don't understand why so many soap makers seem to think they need to add two or more things together, especially in this case. Patchouli is lovely on its own, however if someone really wants to mix it with something else patchouli doesn't really go with more floral scents, one should aim more for something like fir needle or a tiny splash of clove and/or mullein. If you're feeling adventurous it might even go with a little bit of nutmeg, as well. In terms of scents, however, the point is to try to keep things you want to mix with patchouli in that general scent range, a more autumnal scent range. In summary, while it works great to clean yourself all over and leaves you legitimately feeling clean, for what you're getting it's not a good value at all, the scent for the patchouli and rose soap is disappointing, and the fact it's runny like water only makes it less desirable. There's definite potential but this just doesn't meet it.

Smells like pine sol
Cleans ok. Got the patchouli rose and it smells just like Pine Sol and the scent lingers.
