Must use WITHOUT stock lens cover on GoPro.
Great case! However, the fish-eye lens cover that comes stock with the GoPro Max will NOT allow the GoPro max to fit IF it is secured onto the GoPro. The GoPro must be free of any lens cover for it to fit.I’ll follow up with a picture soon.

Protects well! Very functional, exactly as hoped.
No frills carrying case for GoPro MAX that is doing exactly what I hoped, protecting the camera and especially the lenses. The carabiner attachment is useful for me to connect my MAX to my backpack for easy access. Good buy.
