I’ve had peels at medical spas before and this one work just as well or better! I’ll be repurchasing it!

I waited SO long to try this peel because I was honestly a little stressed by the instructions...it seems like a LOT. So I waited until I had a quiet evening when hubby was a away and the kids went to bed at a decent time. I will say there are a lot of steps but it's not as actually as daunting as it seems in the instructions. I like that the products you need to use are in correct order as you need to use them, left to right. First you cleanse you face with the AHA cleanser and then use the gauze pad(twice) with the liquid exfoliant and swipe it over your face and wait for it to dry. Next you saturate another gauze pad with the peel prep and allow your face to dry. If you have any sensitive areas make sure to border them with the barrier cream, which you'll want to put around your nose, lips and eyes as well. I have a sensitive area around my brows so I also put it there. You pour the AHA glow peel into the cup and use the large swab, saturate it and swipe it over your whole face and wait 3-5 minutes(less if it burns). Once that is done you apply the peel neutralizer to a gauze pad and swipe that over your face a few times. If you dont have any irritation you can follow up with the Arbutin drops. I found that this whole process was pretty gentle on my skin and I did not experience any burning, tingling or redness. My skin looks bright, but I'm sure I'll start to see a difference in the next few days. Apparently you are not supposed to workout for the next 48 hours and you'll want to make sure to wear SPF. The one thing I was a little irritated with is clearly there is enough product in here to do 2 peels, but basically after each step they say to "toss the excess" so I did that with the first vial and wished I would not have because I could have gotten another use out of this peel! For reference I am in my early 40s with dry skin, no acne or skin issues.

I have gotten AHA peels in a dermatologist's office, and have also used home glycolic acid and lactic acid peels. Including "pro-level" in the name is not very descriptive. The concentration of acid in a home peel is often as low as 5-10%. In a professional peel, the percentage can be as high as 70%. Nowhere can I find the % for this peel, but since lactic acid is way down the list of ingredients, I expect it's not very high. Lactic acid is considered the most gentle of the chemical peels, and most people won't actually peel after one. This is a single-use product with a lot of packaging and tiny bottles with minimal amounts of liquid. The instructions are straightforward. I saw some red patches on my face after I finished -- and I left the acid on twice as long as suggested -- but those faded quickly. I didn't see any brightening, but if this was only a 10% peel, I wouldn't expect much. After the peel, users are told not to exercise for 24-48 hours. Why? This isn't surgery! Users are also advised to use the Hydra-Bright Alpha Arbutin drops 2-5 nights a week, with no other direction (can the drops be used with other serums? How do you know whether to apply twice a week or five times a week?) This product has many competitors, none of which cost as much or produce as much wasted material. The Glo peel may be ideal for people with sensitive skin, but unless you need a very gentle treatment, this may be too gentle to produce real results.

Such a wonderful at-home peel kit! This was one of the first kits for a peel I've ever used. I've had peels that were just a single bottle formula, but this was much more effective. I had no issues with tenderness or sensitivity, and my skin felt amazing afterwards. I never realized how much something like this would made make such a big difference for my skin. I'm in my early 40s and my skin isn't as firm or bright and smooth as it use to be. This helps tremendously! I can see the difference in pictures of myself I'm in, before and after.

I wanted to try this. I'm sure I could use the deep exfoliation. So imagine my shock when this kit arrived and I read the directions...down time of up to 5 days! Uh....no thank you! I don't have that luxury.
