Botanical nomenclature: Adansonia digitata Common name: African baobab Family: malvaceae Country: Africa Height: 20 meters high and 11 meters in diameter The African baobab tree is one of the strangest in the plant kingdom (wonder of the world). The same is for water during periods of drought. Baobab is a deciduous tree, losing its leaves in the dry season. At the end of the dry season, the baobab blossoms with large white flowers that hang in a long, fresh wave to the unique spectacle in the evening, where they are pollinated by bats that feed on their nectar. Mirror very drought tolerant, not needing water during the winter. Despite its adaptation to dry climates, successful practice with much success in rainy climates provided it has a well drained soil and the possibility of a space to grow. A real living sculpture, a splendor of nature. As the seeds follow with their hand encounter. Review: Successfully germinated seed. Research before attempt - It was difficult for me to sprout but after 4 or 5 tries I was able to sprout one! The sprout looks really good and will hopefully be able to pot it successfully since I live in a temperate zone I do not think this tree would survive outside here. My successful attempt was the following process: Soaked seed for 48 hours. Scraped off thin outer layer. Used bonsai clippers to chip off multiple spots of the seeds hard shell. Places seed in a rockwool sprouting cube soaked in water with a splash of lemon. Placed sprouting cube inside a clear soup container upside down (lid on the bottom to act as a single seed greenhouse) Set container on top of warming mat on window sill. I think the seed started to send out a Taproot within the first week and sprouted in 2 or 3 weeks but I didnt keep track of the time so I'm unsure. I used similar methods on the last few seeds but they did not take and this single seed was very successful in germinating. Review: Waste of Money - These seeds may be subject to irradiation when shipped from a foreign country. Possibly causing damage to the seeds. The seeds I received never sprouted, despite my following the exact methods suggested to germinate them.

Immature unfertilized seats will not sprout..
Three packs of seeds all seeds were immature and unfertilized they will not sprout. And a month later what do you know, none of them sprouted. I have grown 100 and 100 of Boabab trees from seeds . Seeds that are good will sprout with in a few weeks.. seeds should be close if not longer than half inch long.. if there around the size of a black eye pea it wont growing.. need to get the bad sellers of here.

The tree of life
Received exactly as described. One germinated, I had hoped for 3, but this plant is known to ne hard to germinate. Three of the seeds were not very robust looking. Had all the seeds looked viable I would have given 5 stars. May try again.

These grew very very fast in my east window. Been few weeks and already forming and transforming into designs. Grows fast in warm room with lots of light. Received 3 branches 2 bloomed, my fault other one didn’t sprout. Other two are awesome. Buy and train.

Great seeds, all germinated so far.
Baobab seeds are notorious for being difficult to germinate and technique is critical. I’ve germinated consistently from other batches and this batch has 5/5 success so far. I haven’t attempted the other 6 (came with 11 in my bag). Use the cut method of the outer shell and pour boiling water on the seeds. Soak for 2 days and the shell peels. Seeds are viable. Would buy from them again. Thanks!
