AllerMates Child Medical Alert Wheat Gluten Allergy Bracelet

I bought this because my daughter's school can't seem to remember not to give her gluten. She's 5 and this fits her little wrist perfectly. She wears it 24/7 and has never taken it off. It has not only served as a notice and reminder for her teachers, but it also made my daughter more aware of her GF diet. She wanted to learn more about wheat and gluten and about her health do it became a great teaching opportunity. The yellow does get a little discolored in time, but it doesn't look bad. I think this was a good purchase and would recommend these bracelets to others.UPDATE: This bracelet has really stood up well to a high energy and sometimes destructive 5 year old. It's been colored on and chewed and its still doing its job. It's easy to clean and seems to be pretty indestructible.

I purchased this wristband for my grandson after he was diagnosed having celiac decease. He was so excited to have a wristband being his best friend had a wristband just like this for a tree nut allergy.The band is made very well. Very pleased with the purchase.I wound up buying another for my other grandson who does not have celiac decease but has intolerance to wheat.

I bought this bracelet for my son as a reminder to him more than anyone else. (It seems cupcakes show up in his class almost everyday.) The bracelet itself is a good quality and seems to hold up to the wear and tear of childhood. Although sizing is adjustable, I do wish I could make it just a bit larger. My son seems to feel its "too tight" even though there is a bit of room left. I'm sure it's just his skin being irritable, but I don't see this bracelet being an option for older kids because size options.

we got this for my 6 year old daughter and it fits perfectly. The snaps are tight enough that they dont come undone during normal wear, but she is able to take it off if it's getting in her way. She likes Prof. Wheatly, and enjoyed showing her friends her new reminder

This was broken when it arrived. I don't know why, but the snaps on this particular bracelet are different than the others. My son has a peanut bracelet, and I had ordered both the gluten and the dairy bracelets for my niece. The dairy one is great, just like my son's, but the snaps on the gluten one broke the first time we opened it to put it on my niece. Will be looking for a better one.

Cute but attracts dirt like a magnet and is hard to get back to bright yellow clean. On top of this no one else knows what this means so that makes it about worthless.

I like this bracelet. It is kid friendly and it stands out like I wanted it to. Unfortunately my 5 year old will not keep it on because it makes his wrist hot and sweaty.

great item, the kids thought it was a really "cool" bracelet, that they actually liked wearing. i got it as a reminder for my daughter and her teachers when her diet was first switched. holds up well, and even fit my little guy. 2.5 (at the time)
