The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our distressed mantels. **Q: Is this non-combustible?**
A: It is real wood, so I would have to say that it is combustible.

**Q: Can this be made in 68” length?**
A: No it isn’t. This piece is hollow and I believe doing any construction to it would damage the structure.

**Q: Do you have stain samples ... is the provincial reddish**
A: I have the provincial and I think the posted picture is a true representation.  I don’t see red but if you do then you will see in the product. Also search the stain color online to get a good feel for what it’s like.  I really love my mantle!

**Q: Hi, how far away from the top of the fireplace can I install this mantel?**
A: Hi, the bottom of the mantel should be at least 12” above the fireplace.

We purchased the 1-tier Fireplace Mantel, Distressed, Rustic, Floating Shelf, Modern, Real Wood. (72Lx6Hx8D, Brown). Absolutely love it! I couldn’t find reviews of people using it just as a shelf so wanted to be sure to come back and leave a review. Not just a mantle. :) It looks great above the couch. The mounting on this big one was so easy and not complicated at all. The way it’s mounted it will hold a substantial amount of weight. We drilled the mounting ledge into the studs. It’s not overly heavy. Great craftsmanship and looks like it is real reclaimed wood. Perfect and exactly what we wanted. Would buy again for another area of the house as well. This would look great above our wall mount headboard. Love it!
