I don't really know, but if it is defective, I'd reach out to Amazon's customer service. The pin should last longer than 2 months! Or go into your "orders" section and see if the seller is listed in the delivered order.

Q: Why are the colors off? This is very bothersome to me. The complementary color to purple is orange. Red, yellow, and blue should make a triangle.

RED, YELLOW, BLUE are true painting primary colors!!! The color wheel is hundreds of years old. Nature?? Look at the rainbow and light thru a prism. I want to know what art credentials, what authorities the seller is believing for this notion of "nature" being CMY. That's 3 of 4 color printing, NOT painting, which is what the color wheel is about!!! PAINTING! (CMY with black added because it's a truer black than mixing other colors together for 4 color PRINTING, not painting!!!) Goethe famously painted a color wheel with RYB as primary. Red/Green, Yellow/Purple and Blue Orange ARE the TRUE and ONLY Complementary colors!!! British printer Currier created CMYK for four color printing END of 1800s!!! RYB is what is taught in American schools and ALL western publications dealing with Art History and Color Theory!!! I've taken 6 color theory classes in a decade of art colleges, earning several art degrees, with shelves full of color theory and painting books, exhibiting artist, published and exhibiting photographer. I also taught college art and computer graphics and online too. Vendor is WRONG!!!! Dunno what country nor theory they are believing. Just go online to ANY library and check Amazon listings for COLOR THEORY Books!! Adorable pin ... but the response from seller just lost a sale.

Way better than I expected!

Rarely does anything I buy show up and actually exceed my expectations but this pin was a lovely surprise! The pin looks amazing and feels really sturdy. It's bigger than I expected (Bic in picture for scale) but that's a big plus because it looks amazing! Love it!
