I bought a robot vacuum cleaner which comes with some real challenges for me about how to use it effectively. The very first lesson is about how large the house is, how many rooms there are given battery life, and how to make it clean only certain rooms without roaming all over the house partially cleaning in each area. Enter the virtual wall. This solved all my problems. I bought two of these and discovered that I can keep the robot in one area until it has competed its job then move to the next area by simply changing the virtual wall locations. This product is great. Easy to use, cost effective, and it reduced my frustration. I highly recommend it to anyone who used a robot cleaner and lives in a larger home.

So far it seems to work properly. I can't comment on the batter life yet, it's only been about a month

Every few months we have to paint a few of our floorboards because the auto vacuum destroys the paint. These work super well to make an invisible line of where the vacuum shouldn't go. No more vacuum hitting these areas and no more constant painting. They are a bit expensive for what they do though. We should have bought these awhile ago.

After I bought this, the official Roomba virtual wall came down in price so I bought that one too. Both are working fine so far. They are helpful to section off portions of large spaces. Some reviews said that the roomba ignored the devices and knocked them over. I found that I sometimes had to adjust their positions. I generally had them backed up to a wall and facing towards whatever space I wanted blocked. Using the 360 degree feature around the Christmas tree required a little more experimenting to get it right. I noticed that many reviews said that the batteries died quickly. I decided to take the batteries out every time and so far I'm still using the original batteries they came with.

Like the product very well lasts long time with batteries

Seems to turn on fine, but our Rumba 600 series goes right through where the beam is supposed to be. Saw in another review that someone else had this same problem with their 600 series.

Need an extra set to span large area to keep my machine in one space. This worked

I love this item while it is working. I bought a 2 pack on 5-29-23 and one of the barriers stopped working. I thought maybe the batteries were dead but new batteries did not fix the issue. I cannot find a contact number or e-mail address to ask the company for help.
