Works good just like it should.

Kit of two comes with two 6" hook/loop sanding pads and two screw in arbors. Can be used on any power tool that has a 3/8"-1/2" chuck. Definitely not for use with super high speed tools like grinders or any tool with a speed over maybe 2K RPM's. I'll use these on my 3/8" 90 degree angle drill and 1/2" drills for sanding marble or drywall or metal surfaces and floors. I do know that the higher the RPM's the higher the temperature of the sanding disc and pad will become and lead to faster deterioration of the two.

Just what I was looking for so I could fix the fog on the headlights. Now I just need to find the sand disc's for the unit I have so I can sand them off. So far so good.

I have been looking for quality backing pads with a firm hook and loop system that will actually stand up to some heavy course compound cutting full force for a very long, duration, backing pads that come with a hex drill attachment because a lot of times I like to use my impact drill for a final polish above, depending on the product that I am working on, I’ve tried so many and been very disappointed and I can proudly say that my disappointment has come to an end I will never buy anybody else’s backing pads ever again in fact, I’m buying for more as soon as I get done writing this review, that’s how much I love them.

I wanted a couple of replacement 3" backing pads as the ones I have are all on their last legs. These were well-reviewed and had a hex shaft so I can use them both with a drill and an impact driver, so I took a chance. With hindsight, this was a mistake.First up, these are not 3". It's plainly moulded into the back that these are 80mm, which last time I checked is a good bit bigger than the expected 76.2mm. This means that a bunch of the hooks overhang the pad at the edges, which can be bad news for some uses. I'd planned to use these to buff out the headlights on my old nugget of a car yet again, but I don't think I want the backing scraping against the lenses, especially once I'm down to the finer grits at the end.I'm currently a fan of Dura Gold's discs. Their 3" assortment box (B07JG8LXBN) is inexpensive, comes with a wide variety of grits that last a decent amount of time and a foam backing plate. They're dead-to-nuts 3" according to my measurements.Next, beyond being too large, they're not round. The worst of the two I received (pictured) is plainly oval, measuring about 81.1mm on the major axis, and about 78.4mm. Perhaps not the biggest deal in the world since it was already larger than the sanding discs, but the longer axis is even larger than the claimed 80mm, so it paints an overall picture of zero cares given in terms of quality.Finally, because they were stuffed into a ridiculously small padded bag, they spent a long time smashed up against each other and neither are particularly flat. Again, zero cares given.I'm sending these back. They're not as advertised, and it's obvious that whoever's manufacturing these doesn't care much about what comes out the end of the line.
