It takes the pee stain out along with the smell on about 90% of all I have tried it on. Older, set-in messes harder to impossible to remove, not the product at fault. Only issue I had was with real hardwood flooring. It feels sticky. If caught immediately, I sray and only leave on a few minutes, them wipe off with a damp cloth and dry without a problem. I ordered another jug of another top favorite that worked before I discovered this product for the wood that has set in staining. And Nature's Miracle laundry additive (not this product, but from the company) works so well that I have been able to salvage some items that I decided to try it out on before throwing them out. I am amazed at how well it eliminates the odor. Prior to ordering the specific laundry version, I added the regular stuff into the wash and it worked too, but I used more and results were less spectacular. So, buy both. **Q: I know this is primarily for urine, but would it also work on cat vomit and hairballs?**
A: Yes it will work but the main reason this is special for cat urine is because natures miracle is an enzyme cleaner to remove the smell of the urine as cats will continue to pee and poo in the same spot if they can still smell it. You have no risk of that with vomit and hairballs so any normal flooring cleaner would ln d work. I've owned cats for over 25 years and none of them ever made a point to vomit in the same spot more than once. I did learn to get quick with a paper plate or something going in the trash to run and stick in front of them to puke onto though so it can then just be thrown away.

**Q: will this work on old, dried cat pee who sprayed the chair and rug ?**
A: I have used it on old pee on curtains and walls and wood.

**Q: Does this work with dog urine?**
A: I’m not sure about dog urine but it does a decent job on cat urine which I believe is stronger smelling. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

**Q: Does this product also stop cats from peeing in the same spot you used it to clean previous urine?**

This product works great to get rid of cat pee smell and staining. I have tried others. Lots of others. I don't know where to begin on how awesome this product is! My cat started inappropriately peeing out of nowhere. Turned out he was very sick with a virus. (I'm thinking FVR) How that had anything to do with him peeing outside the boxes is beyond me! But it was oddly linked via stress triggers. I did all types of research and spent hundreds of dollars at the vet trying to help him. In the meantime I was dealing with him peeing on couches and in closets! I could close the door to the closets but could not protect the couches by the time I realized what he was doing. I read the reviews for this product and gave it a try. Between working a full-time job & care of the house I didn't have time to professionally clean the couches so I just sprayed & soaked them with this product. Lo and behold, You cannot even smell a slightest scent of urine from the couches! And he had been peeing on it continuously! At first you could smell the freshness from the product when first sprayed...overwhelming the urine scent. But as time went on it literally neutralized the urine odor completely and the scent of the product diminished leaving no smell at all! My couches are dark colored so there wasn't much urine staining to be seen. The smell was the problem....& Nature's Miracle took care of that completely! I'm a believer & will recommend this to everyone! My couches have been saved! Note: Miraculously my cat got better and stop peeing everywhere.
