Evolve Frizz-Free Hair Drying Tee

Best product for curly hair. No frizz! Absolutely recommend!

i have 4a/4b curly coily hair. Whoosh, this Evolve Frizz Free Hair Drying Tee is wonderful. It absorbs excess water, and doesn't usurp natural hair oils. The wrap is about 15in x 24in, has a 1in hem with elastic inside, which just adds structure to the wrap. If you need it tighter just twist it more and. button it up in the back. If you want it looser, (e.g. long hair) just give it one twist and button it uo. Very easy to use, and it does help, by not contributing to the frizzies naturally curly coily hair we girls and ladies enjoy. I'm no longer using turby twists, Terry cloth towels, etc. Evolve head wrap is my go to for after shower hair care. Really good quality; well made, thicker than a tee, and shaped perfectly for its intended use.

I found out microfiber hair turbans like the popular original turban twist actually cause a ton of frizz. The microfiber “fingers” grab your hair strands and pull on them/rough up the hair cuticle causing frizz and damage. I was told to get a cotton turbie towel instead and IT WORKS GREAT!! I have a smallish head and type 3 curls/medium thickness/medium porosity but have different types mixed in. Some is way kinkier and way less porous and my hair takes hours to air dry. I no longer use heat and embrace my curls since using the curly method. No insoluble silicones or waxed at all and no harsh cleansing agents. Only clean ingredients and I use a CM friendly scalp scrub and detoxifying shampoo also. I only wash my hair every 6-10 days. This towel fits and stays on comfortably considering my hair is just above my waist. It’s absorbent and my curls look so much better than when I used microfiber that I bought another one of these cotton towels. They really are a nice, smooth cotton blend. The ONE COMPLAINT is the button is sewn on very weakly and it popped off and went down my drain after just a few uses. So I recommend reinforcing the button with extra thread. Hopefully the company reads this and will improve the button situation. But once the elastic loop wears out on these towels I’ll definitely buy these again to replace them!! Thank you for thinking of us curly girls/people who strive hard to keep our hair looking sleek as to avoid being called “messy” etc by society in general. It makes me sad that curly hair is looked upon as “wild”/“unprofessional”/“messy”/etc and most commercial ads I see show straight hair as being more “beautiful” :( We’re ALL BEAUTIFUL and us curly heads need more companies getting the word out and continue to create products to make our routines easier and quicker. CURLY HAIR IS JUST AS IMPORTANT/BEAUTIFUL AS STRAIGHT HAIR!!

I use a hair drying cap for drying my naturally curly hair in a way that preserves the curls. The cap accordions them together and they look better than if they dry stretched out falling down. The cap slows down the drying. My main goal is not drying but to get well-defined curls. Before putting on the cap, I pat my hair with a bath towel to remove excessive wetness. After that, my hair is wet but not dripping. This cap is made out of t-shirt material, you make it fit the shape and size of your head by twisting the tail of the cap and then folding it up. Finally, you secure the loop on the end of the cap to the button on the front of the cap. You can choose to put the button on the front or the back depending on how you want your hair to dry. For me, it looks better if the button is in the front as it lets the hair fall around my face. If you look at the photos I attached you can see that when you twist the cap it forms a V-shape, whereas the other side of the cap forms an even line. Before I purchased this cap, I used a towel around my head to do the same job. The cap stays on my head tighter and better. I do not sleep in a cap because I find it to be too hot to wear in the summer. The cap works well for both long and short hair. Your long hair goes into the tail of the cap. In fairness, this is one of the best made tee type hair towels that I’ve ever used (and I’ve used them for years). The price is phenomenal too. My gripe is that it’s just too short to cover from the front of my head to the back of my (shoulder length, thin hair). I do have a larger head but this towel won’t work. There’s a good 3-4 inches of the front of my hair sticking out. I’m going to try and add 3-4 inches to the front (sewing a contrasting band of fabric on to lengthen the towel, but I’m not sure if it will work. Here’s to hoping.) As is, after my shower I tried to put moisturizer on my body while wearing this towel on my hair but water continued to drip down my body the entire time… yuck! Sadly, unless they make this towel bigger for adult sized heads I can’t recommend it. (Perhaps it will work on children) By the way, I saw a few reviews mention this being too small, but I decided to take a chance. I should have listened.

This towel is awesome for anyone to use. As soon as I'm done with my shower, (in the shower still) 1) I flip my head over towards the ground 2) I put my hair product in my WET hair & rake my product through with my fingers and finger comb my hair 3) I put the Evolve Frizz-Free Hair Drying Tee right next to the tub - and my head still flipped over, I put the Evolve Frizz-Free Hair Drying Tee on my head (with the button in the back of my head) 4) gather all of your hair in the towel - if you have a lot of hair or long hair be mindful to get it all in there 5) start twisting the Evolve Frizz-Free Hair Drying Tee 6) flip my head up slowly (you don't want to get dizzy) and then you tie it off with band around the button Notes: - don't make it so tight that you're pulling out your hair - a tad but loose is good - remember you just put product in your hair so you don't want it to drip down your face at all so dab the area around your face with a towel quickly if the water starts to drip down or blot it with the Evolve Frizz-Free Hair Drying Tee - you'll need to wash this once per week - I put it in the washing machine but then flat dry it - I've never put it in the dryer - i'm sure you can though - I think this would be great for your curly kid who you struggle with combing their sensitive scalp because it's hard for kids to sit still - it doesn't require any comb/brush time but my curls still come out beautiful because i'm soaking up a TON of water (less water = less frizz) and therefore my products are in my wet hair which is important. I leave the tee on while I'm eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, getting dressed, makeup, then my hair is the last thing I do. If it's cold out I diffuse it a tad but 90% of the time I undo the towel, use a pick and just fluff out my fro and let it air dry the rest - spraying just a tad of a finishing spray that can be used on wet or dry hair Hope this helps you

I purchased this to use in helping to keep the frizz out of my hair, which it claims to do. Since it wouldn't even allow all my hair to fit into it, I never got the chance to try it out to see if this would really work or not. I wanted something easier than the whole t-shirt mess involved with "plopping" your hair. There's no way this would have stayed on all night, when I couldn't even get it closed, let alone all my hair into it. The button and loop fastener seems barely secure enough to hold it on your head before even getting in the bed, and the material is not true t-shirt material. I doubt the claim of the absorbency based upon the way the material felt. I can only imagine how flat my curls would've been in the morning, let alone having to worry about frizz on top of that. If you have any length to your hair, or thickness, which I have both, this probably isn't the product for you. It definitely is NOT a "one size fits all" as advertised. If you look at the pictures on the box it's packaged in, it barely looks like the models have any hair underneath it. I returned it and will stick with the t-shirt for now. I've tried too many of these different types, all claiming they're the answer. I'm done with all of them at this point. I'm also not sure what is NEW, as advertised on the box, about this product, since there's reviews and questions posted that are 3-5 years old.

El producto llego en tiempo y bien empacado. Excelente producto, estoy feliz y he comprado varios para tener en casa otro en la maleta del gimnasio y otro para salir de viaje. Si haces el CGM es excelente para reducir el frizz y quitar la humedad suficiente y estilizar tus rizos. Absorbe bastante la humedad pero no como un gorro de microfibra. Lo lavo con mucha frecuencia y se seca más rápido que las toallas comunes. Las costuras estan bien hechas y resistentes. Excelente compra

This hair towel for me is the best! It’s so hard to find a hair towel that’s not microfiber! If you have curly hair T shirt material is the best! This stops the frizz! Microfiber absorbs far too much moisture for curls.

Wasn't that useful

The perfect one if you are looking for a T-shirt like hair towel. However, I wish it was thicker or they sell 2 pieces. When you wrap your hair right after the shower, it gets wet already and you can't stay with it until your hair dries. Because the towel is too wet to dry your hair. I will probably buy another one, yet I really don't want to pay such money for two.
