Although I have oily skin, I like to moisturize prior to my makeup application. As my oily skin people know, you have to be mindful of what type you use. I previously used a name brand name and was looking for something more affordable. My search for a light, incredibly absorbent moisturizer brought me to CG Mattifying cream. I decided to purchase from Amazon as it has the better price. The texture, fragrance and absorbency is amazing.I applied to my face and waited a few minutes and can feel a difference. I continued to prime my face as usual and applied my makeup. It’s a very good moisturizer for a very good price point. Now don’t go thinking it’s gonna keep you matte all day, it may or may not depending on how oily you are. I can’t say I noticed a difference in doing so compared to my previous brand name moisturizer BUT as far as moisturizers go, I love it for my oily skin and it prepped me beautifully before applying my makeup. It’s a must have in my cosmetics bag now!

I paid $5.00 for this moisturizer, and I must say it works better than other expensive ones. I bought it to use in the mornings, but ended up using it twice a day, every day. I finished the bottle in no time. It felt great on my skin, and gave me no breakouts. No pictures to share-- the bottle has been thrown out.

I put two serums on in the morning after washing my face and then this moisturizer. It dries quick, it's SUPER lightweight and it feels matte to the touch. I would say it reduces my shine considerably but possibly because I'm still using 2 serums under it I still notice a bit of a shine. Either way, a little sebum powder in my case and I'm COMPLETELY matte. There's a TON of product and it only takes a little to cover your face, so it's also a great value, and I plan on repurchasing whenever I get through this container!

I’m a huge fan of water creams and water gel moisturizers. I’ve been looking for an alternative to Belif Aqua Bomb because it’s very pricey. This product is not it, though the price point is hard to beat for a water cream. This could be a good option for someone seeking a very very light moisturizer.The texure is grainy. It doesn’t feel exfoliating or anything on the skin, but it’s just not the smooth, refreshing application I’m looking for. It also leaves a tacky residue on my skin, which is a no-go for me. I’m looking for matte.The smell is neutral and fine, neither stinky nor heavily perfumed. Hasn’t irritated my skin at all. It doesn’t feel particularly moisturizing though. My skin is dry right now, so maybe it’d hold up better for someone who just needed a very light moisturizer, or lived in a humid area.

I love this lotion - makes my skin look so healthy and moisturized and like a glow. I have oily combo skin in 30s. I have sensitive skin especially on my face and this one doesn't burn or bother my skin. I use it before makeup and after washing my face. Lots in the container and doesn't take much - it has a gel like feeling

Let me start by saying, I have a very oily skin - shining like a mirror kinda oily. So believe me when I say this works! It cut my shine by 90% and nothing has ever done except powder. It's very light with a beautiful scent, a little goes a long way. Don't be fooled by the dewyness it leaves after application, it disappears leaving you shine free. I have a new must have 🥰
