I have tried many brands of French Roast coffee beans. This brand is the best I have ever had; it is smooth, rich.

BEST coffee I've had in literally 30 years! This coffee is not good it is GREAT! Just what you would expect from a good cup of coffee, no bitter after taste, smooth, lays out nice on the pallet. So good that on most days I'm inclined to make another 20 oz. pot. Hardcore whole bean Starbucks fan for years, hands down Real Good Coffee has ANYTHING I've brewed in 30 years! Awesome

Fresh, dark, rich...the way I like coffee. I don't know if it is good value or not, but the qualities above make it a worthwhile expenditure for me. I rarely give five stars, so I'll hold back for a while to see if it maintains it consistency over a year. I've reordered 3 times, so we're off to a terrific start.

Really great taste - value - dark roast

I've been looking for coffee beans that make a solid cup of coffee, and I'm delighted to say that I found it! Coffee preferences and tastes are very subjective, and what's good to one person might not be to another, so keep that in mind. What I want in a good cup of coffee is a straight forward coffee taste. No bitterness, no burnt taste, just something smooth and simple. I don't use a lot of sweetener in my coffee, I generally make it in my Keurig and add a dollop of heavy whipping cream and sometimes a teaspoon of chocolate Keto Chow for the sweetness and flavor. This coffee tastes like a lightly sweetened coffee candy when I make it that way. When I opened the bag, I was welcomed with the delicious aroma of quality coffee, and this bean does deliver on that promise. It's a solid bold flavor without being too strong, and the coffee taste isn't lost when I add the chocolate keto chow and heaving whipping cream. Once this bag is almost empty I'll begin subscribing to it for regular deliveries. it's that good.

I am a huge fan of French Roast. I've been looking for the "perfect" French Roast for a couple of years now and this may very well be it. This coffee dances across your tongue. It is the closest thing to magic that I have ever tasted. Spicy notes tingle the senses. Very robust with floral and raspberry notes, but not in a bad way for those of you who don't like fruit or flower in coffee. I won't touch infused crap. There is this... I don't know how to describe the other flavor. The color of caramel comes to mind but not the flavor of caramel. It's like if warmth had a flavor. There are so many dimensions to this coffee that I feel I have been drinking one-dimensional coffee before this. So. Good. So fresh. So delicious. 2 lbs are already gone and I bought this less than 2-weeks ago.

It is good, but in my opinion not as good as Seattles Best #5 or Starbucks Italian or French Roast.

I love these coffee beans. I burr grind these to a coarse consistency for cold brew that I make in large mason jars. My cold brew tastes amazing since switching to this delicious dark roast. I brew for 12-24 hours to make a cold brew coffee that I am extremely happy with. The beans come fragrant and glossy and the flavor is bold and smooth when brewed at room temperature or in the fridge. I just signed up for subscribe and save for the first time for these beans and I truly recommend giving this brand a try. I will say that, needing 2 cups of grounds per cold brew concentrate, this coffee gets a bit pricey with how much of it I drink, but it’s a good value for the market.
