ViscontiPENS VAN GOGH THE IMPRESSIONIST STARRY NIGHT fountain pen fine

A beauty to look at and write with. Expensive but worth it. I ordered from a European seller and Europe has already switched to a new nib design so the nib is probably different from what you see pictured in American stores, but functions beautifully.

I have the Wheatfield under Thunderclouds version of this pen. It is beautiful, and I think anyone who loves Van Gogh would like to find one of these pens that represents one of your favorite paintings. The steel nib writes very smoothly. The magnetic closing of the cap is very smooth and pleasing. The pen is very well made. It is not inexpensive, but is definitely at a quality level equal to the price. While I am sorry the other commenter had trouble with a vendor, I thought it was important to indicate that the problem was not with the pen. This is not a one-star pen. But aside from that, be sure to shop around. Prices may vary.

My husband is the pen collector and I have no interest but this was a Christmas gift for him and when I received it, I almost wanted it for myself. This pen exceeded my expectations. I was also nervous about ordering it from outside the u.s. but it got here with no issues and early. Highly recommend this for your pen lover.

Ho presa la stilografica perché la ritenevo un gran bel regalo di natale per chi appassionato. Ha il tappo magnetico (raro da trovare) e colori vivaci e unici. Da tenere per collezione senza ricaricarla o usarla. Deluso che alcune versioni abbiano l'inchiostro incluso nella confezione ma quella italiana, ovviamente, no.

This is a very beautiful fountain pen. It writes like a charm out of the box, which is a beautiful representation of Van Gogh's Starry Night painting.Very very beautiful and fine craftsmanship from Italy.There is already another Visconti on the way and I now know Visconti is a valid choice!

What a great purchase. The price was the best I've seen anywhere for the pen. As you can see from the picture it comes in a beautiful presentation box with a bottle of ink included. I have the fine nib which wrote beautifully out of the box with no tuning required. I have heard about Visconti qc issues. Well there were no issue with my pen. I love it.

Todo lo contrario, los que tengáis recelo de gastaros tanto dinero en un plumín de acero,,he de deciros que realmente merece la pena. Se trata de un plumín maravilloso, el mío es Fino y tiene un desempeño como si éste fuese de oro. No tengáis miedo, que merece la pena. Además la pluma es preciosa, con el barril y el capuchón facetados y con una resina preciosa que hará que cada pluma, aunque sea el mismo modelo, sea diferente. Muy contento, la verdad, esperaba menos y tengo más.

This pen is reflective of the Van Gogh Starry night picture in its resin colours. I have a medium and thought I would try the fine nib. The medium is a better option. Both nibs there is only slight line variation. The caps seal the ink in so they always write on uncapping and write nicely. It came with a converter which was a good addition to a pen in this price range. I didn’t realise that the warranty is voided by buying off Amazon. Hopefully there won’t be any issues. However I’ve heard of quality control problems with this Italian made pen and purchasers need to be wary of this and use the Amazon returns policy.
