Houdini Lever Corkscrew Silver Wine Bottle Opener Cork Remover

Works well and will last for years. a foil cutter and extra screw piece is included. My electric corkscrew pooped out after only a few years of casual use, so I went back to this one.

The Houdini Lever Corkscrew might be one of my favorite things in my kitchen. Long gone are the days of fishing out pieces of cork that have fallen into the wine bottle. (It was getting embarrassing) The lever makes it so easy to open a bottle of wine that it takes almost no strength at all. We got ours as a gift and have given many out as gifts as well. Everyone that has been at our house when I use it is amazed and they end up buying one.

The Hoodini corkscrew exceeded my expectatioins. It makes opening bottles of wine fun & easy. I do recommend that you use it on a sturdy surface, like a desk to prevent the bottle from tipping over as you open it. If I'm not careful, I could become an alcaholic thru thed use of this product:) Be careful with tall bottlees as the corkscrew may break. Otherwise it’s a great product. I plan to buy another one.

This is my second Houdini. Love it! So simple to use. The only complaint I'd have is, it is my second one. My first one broke after about 2 years.

This is a Christmas gift and I don't know how the receipients will like it but it's exactly as advertised and I'm sure our wine connisours will appreciate this gift.

This corkscrew is made of cheap and flimsy plastic. I seriously used it twice and was afraid both times that the handles would just snap off. I don't drink a lot of wine, so it lived in my drawer for a few months till the 3rd time I attempted to use it. The plunger motion worked great and the corkscrew properly entered the cork. However; it won't pull the cork back out, it just keeps unscrewing itself. I thought it might be the cork, so I tried a different bottle. Same results. So then I had 2 bottles of wine with a hole in the cork. I went and bought an old fashioned cork screw and enjoyed both bottles of wine.

Great opener! This one replaced the one I had for about 6 years, sturdy and easy to use. Love it!
