I use Moleskine books for everything from my journal to work notes. I wanted something that would keep my pen with it but that could be moved to other books. I ended up getting two of these. One stays on my journal a hardcover large Moleskine. The other goes to meetings with me, wrapped around the softcover large Moleskine. Because the soft covers, are well soft you can't just slip it on the cover, but it fit great around the book or you can slip it over half and mark your spot. All in all a handy item and well made.

I've been using this holder for a year now. Not one single issue. Stretches and holds snuggly. Does not pinch the book and isn't too thick to hurt the binding. I've referred this to others as well. Such a simple thing but one I love.

Great little pen holder! It costs the same as the ones you stick to the edge of the notebook, but it's a better deal because you can move it to the new notebook when it's time to switch. The only thing I'd change is maybe add something a little bit rubbery or grippy on the under side of the elastic so it doesn't slip downward when I insert my pen.

This wraps around my Galaxy Tab S3 and looks much nicer than the cheapo looking holder the keyboard book cover came with. Holds the stylus in place. Would be good for a nice writing notebook. The manufacturing is top notch and looks very durable. I can see this one lasting a long long time.

This pen/pencil holder is truly amazing. I can now travel confidently with my notebook, knowing that my favorite pen is always nearby.My favorite part is the fact the elastic band is reusable and doesn't stick to my notebook, leaving sticky marks all over the back flip.I highly recommend this product to anyone who owns a notebook.

The holder stays put and holds the pen well (my notebook measures 8-1/2" long). I tried pens with two different widths and both fit nicely and don't slide out on their own.

Fit perfectly on my Levenger A5 notebook. While using the pen, my notebook lies flat. I love the purple color scheme!
