1/2" x 1/4" Aramid High Temp BBQ Gasket Smoker Pit Seal, self Stick 15ft

Did not get this for a bbq. Used the 1/2 x 1/2 for my commercial countertop oven, worked great. Realized I could use this one to solve the biggest problem that toaster ovens have - heat loss through the edges of the door. Works great. Try not to spill sticky stuff on it, though.

Used it around the rim, under the bump, of my ecb smoker. The lid sits on it. After a smoke, it developed a rubbery surface. It make seal. Much smoke contained. ...although, not under any circumstances--however seemingly appropriate, nor idea--no matter how ingenious, should you head butt your smoker. The tape will be fine but you will have grease on your face.

I used this on a cabinet style smoker. I was not overly happy with this product.I have two doors, one firebox door and one cook chamber door.They worked fine the first two times in use but then ash from the fire box came into contact with the gasketand eventually got stiff and no longer produced an airtight seal.The same goes for the cook chamber gasket. Drippings got to the bottom gasket and it is stiff as well.

All was good about this. I liked the thickness and width. Would buy it again

Worked much better than the 1/8 inch on the door of my smoker.

Works well, seals the leaks!

this gasket allows us to actually close the air leaks on our barrel style charcoal grill.
