good book for the very young
This book introduces the idea that touching others is important and can feel good, but sometimes it's just not the right time. This book opens the conversation up for children to explore ways people take care of one another and themselves. This is a great starter for healthy physical boundaries in children.

the right amount for little kids
I think that it is important to have a venue to open dialogue with your kids without making this a bigger issue than it needs to be for most kids. I got this book years ago when my kids were little and I have to admit I wasn't impressed with the physical qualities of the book (illustrations, no binding). However, for it's purpose, I really liked how it was not a scary book at all. It is more about how we care for each other and gives families a good way to talk about appropriate touching.

Subtle yet effective
This books is great for young children who may or may not have experienced physical or sexual abuse. This book provides a sense of security to facilitate more discussion with a caring adult. Kids feel safe with this book and the book gets kids thinking of their own good ideas for coping with situations. The pictures may be a little bland, but many kids enjoy brightening pages up on their own!

Not informative or what I expected
I thought this would define what is right and not wrong in a better manner. Very brief and uninformative.
