Singing Bowl Round Sides 8" Medicine Buddha Blue

Larger than expected. There’s a minut learning curve to getting it to sing, but easy enough to use after you get the hang of it. There is a varying range in volume that is achievable, and it can get surprisingly loud.

It is a beautiful piece, however, it doesn't sing, and any sound that you may produce dies within a second, my theory is that the bottom is extremely flat. If you want it for decoration then it may be fine, but you can get another one that does sing and looks great.

Love the blue color in this singing bowl. Has a nice tone to it. This one appears to be exactly like one I was looking at elsewhere, but is blue instead of red, which I prefer anyways. Mallet was included, as it should be. The only thing I do feel the need to mention is that mine was not the Medicine Buddha on the inside of the bowl as named in the title (note the and hand positions), but instead is the Blessing Buddha (which is what is inside of the red bowl I mentioned). It's no biggie to me, as I was originally wanting the red bowl I had seen, but it was out of stock, and there was no telling when it was going to be back in stock. One of the pictures on another review shows has the Medicine Buddha, but what I received, as well as the person who posted the video. Again, no big deal to me, but if which one you want matters, you might want to look elsewhere.

I loved everything about this bowl. Unfortunately it doesn't sing. I had to send it back.

Just got mine today. It definitely doesn’t play for me. It has rough edges and you can hear more of it rubbing on the rough edges vs singing. I’m well experience with this stuff and definitely avoid it. As others have said it doesn’t play. I personally think it’s a quality issue. Some may play. But others don’t. Like mine. Update. I have spent some time getting out the rough edges. There is still some there. You can also see rough machining around the bowl. After getting the rough edges sort of smooth. I got it to sing a little. I will up my stars from one to three. It’s a beautiful bowl overall. It’s just not tuned fully out of the box.

I love my bowl! I had been wanting it for a very long time and one’s I received it I fell in love 😍. It sings immediately and makes such a powerful sound, I love it! The mallet is great too!

Not only does this bowel look great, but it is so easy to play. mine doesn't require a "strike" before tuning. Beautiful loud tone.

We see videos of the size and weight of the singing bowl was excellent the price is unbelievable but it does not sting when using the padded part of the mouth at the only sing when I use the wooden part of the Mallet and then it's kind of, hammer on metal.
