I needed something unique and of high quality to give to my daughters as a gift and this was such a good choice...they loved them! The crane is such a great symbol, it represents good fortune and longevity. The Japanese refer to the crane as the “bird of happiness.” After the initial purchase I bought two more as gifts. I'm very pleased with the purchases.

Wow- really pretty and nicely made.I bought almost this exact charm 10 years ago for my friends daughter at her sweet 16- that was a $60 pendant. She wore it almost every day until it broke. I went on the hunt for a replacement and found this almost mirror image. I gave it to her and she loved it- and I am very happy with the purchase. I am planning on buying one for myself and my mother. My only concern is that I had it at my house for two weeks and it tarnished... I hope that was a fluke. I would t hesitate in buying this- a beautiful gift for all ages- teen to 60+.

Great necklace. The back is not completely flat but it does make it lighter weight. The chain is thin but enough for the charm.
