Eh...
I had ordered a much larger better quality version of this for my 125 Rottweiler, and liked it. So I figured I could order a smaller version to get me started for my newly adopted a PIt Bull. I want to walk him on a gentle leader, but right now, his nose is so small, he just slides it off. I used this harness twice, and I am not really impressed. For starters, the handle is so big it makes the harness top heavy. Overall, the harness is just okay. For the price, not bad....considering many harnesses are just straps and cost as much if not more. I will be returning this and work on the gentle leader, as I feel it is the best thing out there.

I love this design
I can't walk my dog on a collar. She will back out of it every time. I tried at least 5 designs before I found this winner. The harness fits comfortably on her. It's not big and bulky. The Handle has been so usefull for my squirming 15# dog. When she does get caught in one of our other dogs leashes I can just pick her up. Believe me when I say she used to just spin in circles. That makes it impossible to untangle them. I couldn't walk both dogs by myself. That's just one of the uses. There are many more. I found the sizing chart accurate and that's a big plus.

Great harness
I purchased the Guardian Gear Excursion Harness for my 17lb dachshund/bishon mix. The small size works great and fits perfectly. Although I have not actually been out on many walks yet with my pup, I am hopeful that this will keep Charlie in line and that he will not be able to pull a "Houdini" act by pulling out of this harness, as he has done with all of the other harnesses I have tried on him. I will keep you updated!This harness is also well made and seems very sturdy...

I love this harness but more importantly so does my dog
I love this harness but more importantly so does my dog! It's great for socializing your dog as you can hold the handle and slowly walk your dog to the other dog and keep him right but the padding keeps him from feeling uncomfortable.

It looks like decent quality
It looks like decent quality. To assist with sizing, the bottom strap was too short to fit around my 20lbs pug. I bought a small but I will exchange for a medium.
