Parrot owners this is a must for a drama free nail trimming!
I have 3 parrots and nail trimming was a chore trying to get them to hold still! The first time I used this on my youngest African Grey she relaxed and seemed to enjoy this. I then tried it on my older drama queen African Grey and this time I just waited for her to stand on the porch of her cage. Her nails were long and I was about to make an appointment with the vet when I decided to give it a try. All I did was come up underneath the porch and one by one trimmed each nail with NO DRAMA AT ALL! OMG I will never be without this trimmer again. The next test will be my Amazon when he comes out on his porch. Having them on the porch and the nails on the underside of the cage protects me from getting attacked. WOW what a safer way to do this and how much better to be able to trim them with ease. They really seem to enjoy the vibration of the tool on their toes. I highly recommend this to anyone with birds or figgity animals as this is quiet and very soothing to them.

Overall a great product - especially since it is rechargeable
So far all 3 of my dogs have allowed me to trim their nails. Don't get me wrong though - it took some time! The noice and vibration made them uneasy at first. We went through lots of treats! I have brought it out every day now and did just a bit on 1 dog each day so that they get used to it. Overall a great product - especially since it is rechargeable!

Works Great
I purchased a battery powered one a couple years ago which had no power and was pretty useless. Decided to try again as we have a 5 month old puppy with growing claws. This spins fast and does not bog down. The grit seem just right and hopefully wont need to be replaced. It's not to noisy but you do have to get your pooch used to it before giving a good grind.

Terrible
When I was looking at this item, and at others, I was under the impression that it was very heavy duty and you could really take bigger parts of the nail down with this. When in reality it's more like a nail file. Just smoothing over the sharp part that you just trimmed. Was hoping for something that i could use in place of actually using nail clippers since they seem to hurt. It also didnt come with the wall charger. it came with a cable to charge it, but you have to have the actual plug in to make it charge.

the "diamond" file is not that great either. If you want to do it yourself
Fully charged it does not have much power. Took three times longer to do it myself than at the pet shop. Granted the pet shop's nail grinder is probably more commercial, but I have a tiny dog with little nails and it took forever to do it. the "diamond" file is not that great either. If you want to do it yourself, spend more money and get a better one.

It is easy to use
It is easy to use. I love this. One issue is an battery is little bit short to grind a lot of nail. I give 4 stars for this product.
