Sound Breaker SB-KIT4 4-Gauge Premium Car Amplifier Wiring Kit

This is not 4 guage wire. The outer coating is pumped up to make it look thick but it's only 8 guage of wire. See my pictures compared to 8 gauge Rockford Fosgate wire. It's pumped up on the outside to make it look as thick as real 4 gauge wire - and overall it is as thick, but not the wire inside the coating. Product is what was expected for the price.The people that are leaving the negative reviews seem to be comparing this package to high end products which is silly to do.

Had to purchase a new fuse holder, the one supplied was broken. Have to be careful while stripping the cable, extremely thin strands of wire break easily

Wire is made of some kind of cheap alloy with very low copper content; it is easily friable (even at 4 gauge!) and nearly impossible to solder. I don't even know what kind of current this wire is able to pass, I should check it out with a multi-meter (having thick gauging doesn't matter if the wire itself cannot deliver the goods)... Trust me, pay the little bit extra for a better kit. Even Radioshack's wire is SEVERAL steps up from this non-sense.

Received quick and is well built. Would definitely recommend. Will be using on a 400 watt amp. Always go bigger than needed with amplifier wiring.

Exactly as advertised

Like others have said about 8g wire. Had to fold the wire in half for the 4g lug terminals to crimp the wire firmly. Solid kit none the less! I'd buy it again for a small amp install.
