Love this steak rub! Not a fan of the Monterey rub, but the Szeged is my favorite so far. While it says 15 minutes, I find that it season’s best with at least 30 minutes for best flavor.

Excellent product

This steak seasoning is mild but adds a nice flavor to your beef. I use it on skirt steak, and it accents the cut really well. It also works well on ribeyes and strip steaks. I use this when I want to add some flavor without it overwhelming the natural flavors of the beef. It is definitely worth the price. The container lasts a while, and I get quite a few meals out of it. Will buy it again. I would recommend this to others to try. Friends ask what the seasoning is when I cook for them and I am quick to tell them about this seasoning.

I started using this seasoning when I was just learning to cook steak in high school. I have yet to find any other spice that comes close to the incredible flavor. It used to be available in my local Shoprite in NJ, but we've moved a few times and I've yet to find anywhere else that carries it. We use this both on steaks and for making burgers. Keep in mind that this seasoning is STRONG--my partner and I start sneezing the moment we open the tin. You may also want to give it a little shake before using, as the powdered part of the seasoning can sink to the bottom and leave mostly dried garlic and sesame seeds at the top. Seriously--if this seasoning is ever discontinued I might just give up beef.

This is a very good seasoning for steaks, chops, burgers or meatloaf. Just be mindful that it is salty so don't add extra salt. I also like that it's gluten free!

I made up a package of different steak seasonings, rubs, herbs, etc., as a gift for a young steak lover who was just starting out and included this one too because we have Hungarian ancestry. I think it was a fun idea and the variety was appreciated. There are a lot of gourmet steak seasonings one can include to make a nice house-warming type gift especially for someone just setting up a household and won't have a variety of spices and seasonings.

Love this stuff! Favourite steak spice! The cap/lid is a bit hard to open, but otherwise it's ok.

IGA has this product for more than half the cost...don't be an idiot like me and check your local stores...great rub btw!
