I don’t have anything negative to say about this. These adapters are incredibly convenient to have in your camping gear, especially for backpacking. They can be difficult to come by in the store which is part of what makes this product so awesome! Looks don’t really matter when it comes to camping gear, however I love the matte finish. It looks and feels high quality. A great buy for any backpackers!!

I ran into a large supply of these 30% propane / 70% butane fuel cans and figured I would get a torch that I could use them with and save $$$ while using them instead of the disposable propane tanks I buy for my existing torches. Imagine my surprise when the butane torch I received required a completely different connection. After a lot of research, I found that my tanks have a small threaded end called a EN417 Lindal Valve. This adapter bridges the gap and allows me to use the Lindal valve cans with the standard butane connection. The cans can be connected or taken off anytime and are self-sealing. Even with this adapter on, the adapter keeps the can from dispensing fluid while not hooked up to anything. Once twisted on to your butane device, in my case a small torch head, the device then has fuel available to work. The butane connection was strange to me, but it does lock in place with less than a 1/4 turn and stays put with a leak free connection. This inexpensive lightweight, metal adapter is perfect for connecting a can that has an EN417 Lindal Valve to a butane appliance.
