Look great while staying cozy and warm with Port Authority Tall Value Men's Fleece Jacket! This fleece jacket is made with 100% polyester fabric that has great resistance to shrinking and stretching. It is supported by a strong Twill-taped neck to prevent the neck and shoulder seams from getting out of shape. There’s no need break the bank just to wear a great jacket. Port Authority Tall Value Jacket features a soft chin guard to protect you against the cold and covers you from unpleasant friction once the zippered is pulled all the way up. The 13.8-ounce midweight jacket makes a great mid-layer when you’re skiing since it traps heat inside. Also, this jacket features two front zippered pockets and bungee cord zipper pulls for practical storage and easy access. You can conveniently keep your smartphone or money inside these pockets while the zipper pull allows you to grip the drawstring cord easily. Port Authority is available in 13 colors: black, brown taupe, dark chocolate brown, deep smoke, forest green, insignia blue, iron grey, maroon, skydiver blue, teal blue, true navy, true red, and true royal. We offer jackets regular sizes from XS to 6XL and extended ones from Large Tall to 4XL Tall.

Utilitarian and malleable.
The form of this jacket is perfect because it's informal but more formal (I think acceptable is the word) than a hoodie. When I first got it, it felt a little small, but with some wearing it molded to the right size. Note that it also has a tightening waist-level adjuster . My favorite part of the jacket is the pockets. Not only does it have side pockets with zippers, it also has inside pockets to quickly stow a letter or something. There's no hood which is good because it annoys me when hoods get in the way. I bought the navy blue men's small and it's my go-to jacket (well I only own one light jacket at a time until it's worn down) but you know what I mean... it's great.

$20 gets you a fleece that works just as well as any other
Let's face it, folks. When you pay more for the same fleece you're paying for that label on your chest. This fleece fits perfectly and is soft and very thick. Last weekend I was out camping and it was in the lower 30s in the evening and the only thing I was wearing on my torso was a long sleeve shirt and this fleece and I was comfortable all night long. It was just slightly windy so I'm sure that helped. In the morning it was 21F but I felt fairly comfy even with the morning chills and this fleece and a Marmot soft shell over it. I don't need another one but I'm sadly tempted to just buy another in a different color.Update - Jan 15, 2017: Since my first fleece in March 2014 I bought another in Nov 2014 then another in Oct 2016. All three fit and feel exactly the same. Yes, all three zippers will go crazy on you if you're too careless with it but it has only happened maybe 5 times on me in almost three years now and I wear them quite frequently. Even now in the 20s it's my sole jacket when I drive to work since it's just a short walk from the parking lot and such. When I walk a mile to my train station I'll still wear this and my soft shell over it down to the 20s and I'm still quite comfortable, if not too warm. Oddly the description now says 13.8 oz but that must be for the tiniest size. A medium weighs 17.4 oz. I'm planning on thru hiking the PCT in 2018 so every fraction of an ounce counts but I've been considering taking this over my 10 oz down jacket for the wetter sections since it works so effectively against moisture. I've gone on cold day hikes with this and a soft shell and I would feel comfortable but when I take my soft shell off I could feel the moisture on the outside of the fleece but absolutely nothing on the inside. Take it off, and shake it a few times and it's good to go. Fleece just doesn't pack small at all though.

Some extra room, but good.
I've bought two of these, both large. I'm 5-10, 180 lbs. The jackets I got ran a little large. The sleeves would come down to my knuckles if I let them. The jacket is longer and fuller than a typical large. I expect to layer under these, so that roominess was fine with me. I think the sizing is acceptable, in any case. I've washed each a few time and had no issue with shrinking, balling or fading. They're warmer than I expected. I can't consider these a light jacket. No zipper problems. Very casual in a guy sense. Good product.

fit runs small
Loved the co;or. was xl which is my size but the fit was way to tight ie somewhat small & thus not wearable for me so I returned it for a refund. Also did not appreciate facr that returns were not free! I would suggest anyone ordering this product order 1 size larger than you normally would.

Great value on a zip-up fleece with zip-up pockets.
I am 6 foot and 165 pounds, bought the medium and it fits a little baggy but lengthwise it's perfect in both arms and waist. The baggy fit is fine for comfort (lounging around the house and maybe airplane trips and such were I value comfort over fit), but probably would go with small if buying again for a sleeker fitted look. Great quality jacket for the $25 I paid for it with free shipping, a great value. Would buy again. Zip-up fleeces with zip-up pockets are one of the best utility clothing I've ever owned (this one replaces a very similar one I bought at Kohl's years ago that I wore out). They are comfortable, warm but not too warm, and can be worn in a variety of temperatures and situations (great for travel), under winter coats for extra protection in extreme weather, or unzipped when things heat up a bit. Put things in the pocket and zip them up so you don't worry about them falling out (my iPhone 6 Plus fits inside).

Definitely keeps me warm!
I have to say, I was looking for a replacement for my Columbia jacket and I was skeptical of this product based on the price, but it is AWESOME! Its warm, similar in fit to the Columbia jacket I had, but it's far warmer than the latter. This product(s) arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped without issue, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, and color and matched expectations.

Port Authority Fleece Jacket
I am happy with this fleece. I think the material is better than the cheap $35 fleece from Columbia. Maybe it is a little thicker. I also like that it has no label on it unlike Columbia fleeces or North Face or Patagonia. It is fairly warm and I think it is a good buy. Occasionally the zipper comes undone at the bottom when it is already zipped up but I am able without any real difficulty to unzip the fleece and re-zip it again.Edit: I originally rated this fleece as five stars. However, I have kind of changed my mind. The cheap Columbia fleece is a softer and lighter material than this Port Authority fleece. If that is what you want, then the Columbia is the better fleece.

... supplied this fleece jacket with company logo and I liked it so much i ordered the same one here ...
My work supplied this fleece jacket with company logo and I liked it so much i ordered the same one here for personal use. Seems like a very good value, stylish and nice fit. Will make a good middle layer with a gore-tex outer shell or on its own in dry cooler weather.
