These Brewers Yeast Flakes are fantastic for boosting milk supply! I started adding them to my lactation cookies and oatmeal and noticed a real difference within a couple of days. The flakes are non-fortified which is exactly what you want for lactation cookies - no bitter taste. They are vegan, kosher, and non-GMO. The value is excellent for the quantity you get. Highly recommend for any breastfeeding mama looking to increase supply!

I can't tell you how much I love this nutritional yeast (brewer's yeast). This particular brand has no garbage added (most brands include toxic additives !). Since I started taking it, to be totally honest, I've had a whole lot more energy and have been in a great mood. It seems that I am actually GETTING the B vitamins from it. In all these years, I have never noticed anything good happen when I took synthetic B vitamins, no matter which form or which brand; in fact, a lot of them actually caused me to have internal inflammation and pain and even to be bedridden with weakness if I took too much of them. That just proves the point (that I've read in many places) that synthetic vitamins are usually toxic, for a variety of reasons.) Also, it's a complete protein and it has a lot of protein in it. Who knew ! So I've been scarfing down this brewer's yeast, and actually noticing a HUGE difference in the way I feel, with NO bad effects. No digestion problems, either (I am not stinking up the room, ha ! -- if that happens to you, just start with a teaspoon and work your way up). I also like the taste of it. (Probably some folks won't like it -- but I do.) I just stir it into a little water and drink it, but sometimes I eat it dry -- it's kind of like eating peanut butter (sticks to your mouth !). I've been doing the daily dose of 3 tablespoons with breakfast, and recently I started adding another tablespoon in the afternoon, and one near bedtime. I've been having better dreams, too. By the way, I remember that my mom used to take this stuff when she was pregnant with my kid brother; it got rid of her morning sickness.

This stuff is Amazing! Takes a little time getting use to the taste, at least it did for me, but once I got use to it, which took a week or two, I began to crave it. I take it straight up, toss a tablespoon in my mouth and chew. After the first container, I was without this for a while before reordering and boy did I crave it the entire time. What I noticed after hardly no time of taking this Brewers Yeast was the skin under my nails began to look as they should, not pale and dull, but a beautiful pink glowing flesh, also, my nails are no longer dry and dull with tiny abrasive lines running horizontal across some of the nails, to the touch and in appearance, but now are smooth and shiny all on their own, no (chemical) product to help them shine, none at all, just taking the Brewers Yeast, and also, the flesh at the tip of each finger is no longer flat, depleted, lifeless loose skin, but are firm and full like the fingertips of a 20 year old! I love it when you SEE RESULTS from something you're investing time, effort, and money into. I look forward to seeing and feeling the long-term affects! I say, TRY IT! I know it's THIS Brewers Yeast giving me these nice results because the flat, depleted skin returns as soon as I miss a day or two with the firmness returning as soon as I take a serving. Love, love, love this Brewers Yeast!

I have tried several brands of brewer's yeast, but this particular one stands out for its exceptional flavor. It has a mild and pleasant taste that makes it enjoyable to take each morning, unlike other brands that can be somewhat overpowering or harsh and gross. I've grown to look forward to incorporating this brand into my daily routine, as it not only enhances my breakfast but also provides a nutritious boost that I genuinely appreciate.

Great product, especially for athletes. The mineral and amino acid content is superb. Two changes I'd make. When I opened up this comment page, the first thing I see on the Product description, references 'breastfeeding', and 'lactation'. I would modify this to attract the larger audience. Secondly, if they listed the entire spectrum of amino acids, I'd appreciate it. Years ago, I recall one of the brands listed 77 different acids. To content junkies, this is important. Thank you.

Initially, I bought these Brewer's Yeast Flakes to try out a dog treat recipe and they turned out to be absolutely perfect for that. I tasted these flakes pure from a spoon and loved the flavor but of course without liquid straight from the spoon is a bit dry. I have already reordered the product because I have used it so much that I emptied the tub quite fast. I have always liked the taste of brewer's yeast and besides for batches of special treats for my furry kids, which we eat, too btw, I use these flakes in yogurt, sprinkled over foods, and in liquids/beverages. There is no doubt in my mind that over time one will see the positive effects of brewer's yeast in their hair and skin. Of course, as with all products - natural or chemical - people have different results over different time frames. I don't expect miracles but know the effect of b.y. from previous years of taking it in pill form. I know that the second order will not be my last one if the quality is persistent. Update 22 Dec 2017: I have been making the dog treats with this brewer's yeast and coconut oil now for a while (see photo) and they always turn out fantastic. My husband and I still eat them too, because other than I make them into shapes for pets, I would use a different mold for us humans...but why bother. I can still highly recommend this product, especially since it is non-GMO!

Very good unadulterated nutritional yeast. No added synthetic nutrients. Easy to digest
