Busy Board - Wooden Montessori Activity Board for Toddlers & Kids - 12 Educational Sensory Toys to Learn Basic Life Skills & Develop Fine Motor Skills + Baby Mirror

ALMOST everything about this product is great. My one complaint is the door for the mirror seems like it won't last to long especially with a very active 1 year old. My son's favorite thing on the busy board is the lock/door/ mirror. The hinges dont seem to be very durable and the lock on the door may become loose. There is a spot to tighten these items which we will most definitely be doing. Everything else on the busy board is GREAT! me and my husband had originally planned on making our own for our son but with the cost of these items it was cheaper to just buy one and I'm happy we chose this one out of the sea of options. The seller also reached out the day the item was set to arrive and informed us that the film on the mirror can be tough to remove. I appreciated the communication and was aware to remove before use, thankfully we had no issues getting the film off. So far our experience has been great and our son LOVES it.

This product is absolutely incredible. As a first time parent, I had no idea these boards existed. It’s such a great idea for those busy babies who are heading into the exploratory stage and getting into everything around the house. Our son is almost 10 months old and fell in love with this board at first sight. It keeps him busy and he loves to interact with the board as we play along. The quality is great, the colors and activity options are fantastic. I feel that he is getting a safe and intelligent toy to expand his creative mind and growing curiosity. I’m looking forward to taking it along in the car, and watching him interact with it as he grows.

I wanted to get my daughter a toy that she could learn from, be able to use her fine motor skills and something we could easily grab and take with us on the road. This is such a great buy!! Now my daughter is only 10 months old, but she loves this busy board!! She isn’t able everything, but loves the gears, zigzag,Velcro, zipper, and the shoe strings! It’s so amazing watching her little mind at work!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!! My only dislike and caution to others is this- the little door with a lock and surprise mirror … when opening the door, baby fingers can easily get smashed!! Just a heads up!

The kids loved this and I don’t regret buying it but it has a few weak areas. The zipper is attached with 4 screws. The fabric around it is very delicate and it began to tear very quickly and within a week half of the zipper detached from the board. The gears tend to get stuck every three or 4 rotations requiring an adult to free them up. The other items are pretty solid and secure.

I never write reviews but my 1 year old who gets bored of toys quite quickly is obsessed with this board and everything on it especially the door and mirror. He’s been wanting to practice fine motor skills on things he shouldn’t be touching, this gives him an outlet to work on those skills easily and safely! A must have!

Our ten month daughter loves this busy board! She trades off between un-tying the shoelaces and opening the little door to laugh at her reflection. I highly recommend for those babies that love zippers, strings, and velcro. Wait, that's all babies! Just go ahead and give this basic busy board a try!

I ordered this for my 18 month old grandchild, because it looked sturdy, and the listing said it was for babies and toddlers. However, it arrived with a choking hazard warning and when I reviewed it he listing, there is conflicting safety/age information. In one section it says "babies and toddlers" but at the very end, it says "ages 3-12". We may use it. But under strict supervision.

The lace on the shoe does come off- so be aware for younger children. It has plenty of things for our son with ADHD to touch and push and fight with.
