This pen is absolutely stunning. It arrives in a nice presentation box, which makes it perfect as a gift for someone special or simply as a well-deserved treat for yourself. The finish is beautiful, and it looks every bit as impressive in person as it does in the photos. Since having it on my desk, several people have commented on this rather unusual piece, particularly when I’ve been asked to sign something. It does feel thinner in the hand compared to most ballpoint pens, but as it’s made entirely of metal, it has a pleasing weight that feels just right. The balance makes it comfortable to use for most hand sizes, which I think adds to the sense of quality. This is certainly a pen that will turn heads, the craft, elegance and design are well worth the price. It also comes with an ink refill already fitted and another spare in the box, so you’ll have two, although the ink colour is random.

Obviously the price is a lot, and there are definitely better pens out there for the price. However, you shouldn't be buying this for the quality of the pen. It's a fun item to keep on your desk. Looks cool, gets comments from people, fun to fidget with (it spins really well). My desk moves a little while I type and that does cause the pen to bob up an down a lot, which keeps going for a while - for me while I work it is constantly doing that. Just worth keeping in mind if that will annoy you

Beautifully crafted and lovely desk aid

The bad reviews of this pen seem to focus on the quality of how the pen writes. And yes; it's not great. I've compared it to a standard Parker pen and a disposable ink-gel pen. And it sucks. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! As another reviewer put it; it's a nice paperweight. And this is exactly the thing. It's not a great pen. It's not even a very expensive pen, given that you can buy Montblanc pens here on Amazon for thousands or pounds, and the most expensive pens are in the millions. So, not a great pen. But as another one of the increasing gizmos on my home desk, it's actually pretty neat. It's actually cheaper than the Metmo cube, or some of the metallic spinning things or spinning tops made of rarer metals, or the Sterling engine, or Tensegrity platform it stands on. You can get all of these cheap (Apart from the cube) but I like quality. :) So in summary; not a great pen: High quality and original desktop 'thing'. Got exactly what I thought I was buying.
