A lot of people seem to think that you need swivel fittings and angled ratchets to get out the spark plugs... I drive a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i and it's simply not the case. Remove the battery and the air ducts and all you need is a couple extensions and a magnetic fishing tool or magnetic spark plug socket helps as well.
