Out of the two, the furry one worked best. Almost too good. Just today a friend had difficulty hearing me online and I had to adjust my audio sensitivity just so they could(though it was already up high). I have a pop filter, but sadly it wasn’t doing the job I needed it to, so I purchased this as well, thinking it could be a cheaper alternative to my issue (I’ve been working on my plosives and lip smacks on my end, but sometimes it can’t be helped). The foam did very little to alter anything. At least not enough for me to even notice. The furry one however has been doing quite a great job. I do have to raise my voice and sometimes even up my gains just to be heard (thank god I don’t do ASMR), but it works when I require yelling or shouting of any kind. Then I don’t have to worry about as much on my end, just delivering the lines. So the rating is fully for the one and not the other. The other is good to protect against dust and possibly if you have nothing else to work with, but that’s about it

Perhaps a little bit expensive if you only want the foam windshield but I assume you would buy this for the fluffy windshield, It looks good but it does make the sound darker and I wouldn't recommend it for recording music but for podcast or streaming it's a cute and it serves it's purpose.

Im not an expert but I used the furry one and a screen, didn’t face the microphone, but anyways there was a lot of clicking sounds. Easy to setup for sure.

I will use it for now, but I plan to upgrade to something better eventually. This is just too thin for this microphone and the images used were mildly deceptive.

I use a Podmic for my podcast and I also own a focusrite mic and these two helps tremendously with the sound quality cutting down the breath take sounds I often hear without them. This was a very good buy and I’m happy about the quality. Infact I was fearful but now it resorted my faith
