I am very impressed with these earrings. I realized that I had purchased them before and sadly lost them while on a cruise so I am writing this review based on both my current and previous experiences with these earrings. I have sensitive ears and have not had any issues whatsoever. They are the perfect size; not too big and not too small. Of course this is a very personal preference but to give some frame of reference, as a petite woman with shorter hair, I like that they are visible without being overwhelming. While one may consider them to be too small, I do not think many would ever find them to be too large. I appreciate that the backs do not have the larger plastic around them as I find that type of back to be uncomfortable and it can also be a sign that an earring is heavy. Ladies, please remember that our ears stretch as we age so heavy earrings are a big no in my book! Should you prefer different backs though, I tried two other types that I bought as replacements to have on hand from a drugstore and they fit fine on these posts. I do take my earrings out to sleep, put them in after applying makeup and hair products, and I do not get them wet which is good practice for any and all jewelry but even when doing this, I have had cheap items turn green or just fall apart. The first pair prior to me losing them were over a year old and looked brand new and this newer pair are just as wonderful. My favorite thing about these earrings is the shape. For some reason, everything else I own is pretty much round. I love this square design as it's modern/contemporary looking. For the price, I feel you're getting very nice costume jewelry and have never seen anything comparable in stores. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for some easy on the wallet but tasteful looking bling.

EDIT: after wearing these for 1 week i had to take them out, my ears were itching and burning. I took them out for a month, tried wearing them again and same thing, itching and burning, I'm ONLY allergic to nickel, so there has to be some nickel in these. Very disappointed.Really pretty earrings. I have SUPER SENSITIVE ears and these don't bother them at all, I sleep in them and shower in them, no discoloration or anything. They are a tiny bit big for my ears but I've seen bigger earrings like these and I like my earrings a little smaller, but these are very nice and really pretty.

Very pretty and great for the price. I find a lot of these earring have the backing that is off to one side versus in the center. I like that this backing/stud is centered so it doesn’t droop off of my ears. Nice size also. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now and haven’t taken them off at all. They are great for sensitive ears, just about everything bothers me, but not these!

I love these!!!!! They are literally the same kind of earrings that TJ Max has for $24.99. I’m a picky girl, so giving these 5 stars should tell you something.
