COOLWUFAN Anti-Theft Video Doorbell Mount 3.7-5.1 Inch Height Adjustable

I was very excited to receive my 3rd gen Blink doorcam, until I realized it’s slightly too large for my anti-theft door mount. Thinking I just needed to order a new one, I searched and found nothing for 3rd gen cameras. Based on the product specs, this seemed perfect and it does work but it’s a tight fit! And it doesn’t rotate, you can’t adjust the view area. BUT, it shows who is standing at my door, so it will do until better options for this size camera hit the market.

Very good item, I didn’t have to make holes on the wall or door, I put it on the door myself, not a big deal.

This mount is perfect especially for people who live in townhomes, apartments or just renting and cannot drill into the walls or door, I mounted it on the inner hinge of my door instead of the outter side and it works great does not obstruct my door opening or anything, it was extremely easy to put together, it’s very universal for many doorbell cameras, I have the Ring Doorbell 4 fits great, very very sturdy, the bracket is metal and the parts that hold the camera in are a very thick great quality plastic with added padding to hold your camera in safety, nobody can steal or take your camera while in this mount, you have to physically go inside the home and unscrew the mount from behind so it’s impossible for someone to steal it from outside, I am going to get a second one of these mounts for my back door because I love it so much I highly recommend this mount

As i have a doorbell that isn’t the normal shape of the 2 options there are on amazon, this one fits my particular doorbell (Aqara) It slides in but i did have to cut off the bumper parts inside the top piece to make sure it screws in nicely. Putting it on my apartment make me feel more secure as there’s no way you can get it off other than the inside of the house. It’s pure metal so the quality is there.

My front door has an entry that is slightly wider than the door itself. This left no room for the Ring Doorbell unless I wanted to mount it on the side at a 90° angle to the door - not very practical. This door mount is a great alternative. I had to use every foam insert provided to keep it stationary and flush with the mount, but the camera fit perfectly fine with the foam inserts. For the next part, it's important to note I am using a Ring Video Doorbell 2. I don't know if the issue I ran into would be similar with any other models. The only drawback I ran into was that the mount opening was only wide enough for the camera itself. It blocked the IR lights that allowed the camera's night vision to function (they are on the sides of the camera). The quick fix to this is to mount the camera off-center inside the mount. I took one layer of foam from the right and added it to the left. It has no effect on the camera, but it does allow for the night-vision to work now. Of course, better lighting would eliminate the need for the night vision altogether, but that's my problem to deal with. The mount comes with plastic stoppers to prevent the screws from digging into your door. There is a little scraping at the door frame as the metal of the mount hits the inner frame, but nothing a little sandpaper can't fix if/when needed. It's almost not worth mentioning, but worth noting if your door is tight to the frame. For the money and the ease of installation, this is a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone with a narrow entry, an apartment or rental, or anyone that just doesn't want to do the physical installation.

I’m not sure where you live that you would have as much space needed to use. It’s very thick metal on both sides preventing the door from closing. It does not adjust. If you look close it is exactly as pictured and I don’t really understand the gap you would need to attach and close the door.

Nice quality, easy to use, good value and durable. Adjustable to fit on all kinds of doors. Only giving 3 stars bc it doesn’t fit my Eufy doorbell (it’s too tall for the top part to put on). Other than that, this would’ve been a perfect purchase.

I modified it to house my Lorex Doorbell Camera: - Cut the metal into an "L" shaped metal bracket and put a blade edge on it, and then hammered it into the wood on the outside door frame. I also drilled two holes into the metal bracket and used wood screws to secure it. - Drilled two holes in the back of the plastic to allow for the wires to mount into the doorbell.

I was so pleased with the product when my son bought it. It worked beautifully for about 2 months and suddenly the battery is needing to be charged every 2 days. We have done everything suggested to decrease the draining of the battery, but to no avail. I am not sure if I will get other nest products as I also have the flood lights that keep disconnecting. Shame because doorbell it is a really impressive apparatus under normal circumstances. I will have to research whether it can be hard wired. It is highly annoying to have to be charging the doorbell every 2 days.

I was given a Aosu doorbell camera by a friend only to discover the mounting bracket was broken! Turns out you can’t buy just the mounting bracket either. After searching for days on what might fit (as most of these are marketed towards blink and ring), I came across this. Now there is a comment that says it didn’t fit their Aosu camera but it does! Just remove one of the foam pieces (there’s two, one for the top and bottom). It’s secure in place and fits beautifully on the door. Super happy it worked and took a chance on it after looking at the measurements x5000 times. And if you’re looking to use this for a different camera, the top piece is adjustable to your specific camera.
