Collectors or those who study horology should love this model. Domed crystal, very hard to find these days (despite the description, that's got nothing to do with "magnifying" the numbers; it's just a more pleasant, organic, if you will, look, and was the norm until flat mineral glass crystals got popular). The subsidiary seconds hand started on pocket watches and continued for decades on wristwatches until the large "sweep" seconds (yes, it's correctly spelled as plural) hand got popular. Somebody once called this type of watch a "faux chronograph"; it's certainly no such thing. The third gold star goes for NO DATE (no holes drilled in the face: hip, hip, hooray)! Collectors - generally - don't want it; it's not a lack of a feature, it's a feature in its absence. Lastly, it's not a 40mm (the crown doesn't count in that measurement), but a 38mm - even more in line with the vintage (1950s-ish) vibe. The quartz movement gives it accuracy and durability that was unheard of in those days. Pure class with no "braggadocio." "Hey, nice watch!" "Oh, this old thing?" Five stars all the way!

Not something I'd pay $90 for ,looks like a $40 watch !
