These are made of a hard rubber and do not "squish" to seal exhaust hole, and fall out easily. A softer rubber would seal better.

I am a life long high milage motorcyclist. I like to keep my bikes clean. Not just out of vanity, but because the act of cleaning them keeps you close to them and gives you a chance to check that everything is where it should be. After cleaning one goes over the bike and lubes the chain, adjusts cables, checks critical fasteners, etc., which is a critical safety process for a properly maintained motorcycle. Cleaning a motorcycle properly means using plenty of water to rinse off all the collected dirt, road grime, and any of the cleaning products used to help. These lovely little plugs simply keep all that water from filling up the exhaust pipe and perhaps from infiltrating the catalytic converter. Inserting them into the tips of the exhaust pipes at the beginning of the washing process simply takes all the worry away from that issue and makes the whole thing much easier. For anyone that takes maintaining his/her motorcycle seriously, these are must have items.

The only negative I have is that I think these caps are just a little too hard...other than that, I really like them.They work well on my motorcycle...I only have one exhaust pipe and these are perfect when when I'm washing it, to keep water out or when I'm storing it in the barn to keep rodents out. I would rather have 2 red plugs and streamers, but it's no big deal, the black one looks pretty cool and I'm betting one of my buddies will be really happy with it...the red just catches my eye more, so I remember to pull it before going for a ride.You just have to make sure your exhaust is at least an inch wide to make use of this. The plug is cone shaped and the smallest end is about 3/4" so if you're looking to use this on a scooter with a small opening, it's not going to work.Have to say it's solidly made and works well for me.

I got these so my boys could help me wash things like the ATV, lawn mower, and their go-kart. They like helping but for them it's fun to squirt water into any hole they find. This has ended with some undesirable (thankfully not catastrophic) results.These solve the problem nicely. They were a little too big for a couple of my engines but 15 seconds with a bench grinder shaved one of them down to the right size.The "Remove before Flight" tags were a huge win with my boys. They love they idea that they're going to go flying with their go-kart!

Very well-made exhaust plugs that's versatile to fit most pipes. The flags are made of thick canvas and are very durable. The rings are also very robust and strong attaching the flag to the plug. The plugs are made of durable semi soft rubber that will flex to fit and stay securely in the pipe. Great quality product and highly recommended.
