Best field tripod for the money . I use it as hand held support when folded. Takes little space. Solid and not expensive…

This seems like a great basic tripod: packs small, super lightweight, quite stable, smooth movement and locking action. Bought this as a result of the pictured Zomei Q100 feeling chintzy and wobbly. The Barska is a big improvement in those respects, but I do miss the height adjustment. Got a decision to make about which one to keep, but I'm leaning Barska.

I bought a Barska (Cheap-o Russian-made) spotting scope years ago for the range. This tripod fit perfectly. It's just the right size for a range bag. Yes, the Barska scope is as low grade there is, but for going to the range every so often it fits the purpose. Well-made and will make sighting in much easier than trying to support the spotting scope manually. Very pleased.
