Very smooth
This one of the smoothest knives I own. I have more expensive knives. I like Kizer sends you extra screws in case you loose one, mostly likely when you move the pocket clip from one side to the other. This is my current EDC and is kept sharp with a little stropping every other weekend or so. It feels great in the hand. Opens like it knew you were going to open it before you did and when it closes it is smooth as butter. Love the way this knife looks. It was a great value for what I paid for it. I would buy it again. Yes I do own other knives from Kizer and love them all. Quality knives.

It surprised me
It's small but not too small to be useful. I liked it so much I ordered the larger one with the steel upgrade. The action is like butter . It's a thumb stud flipper that really works smooth as silk.. To me it has a clean classy look without looking really threatening. I'd describe it as a great size for a gentleman's knife. Oh, and sharp, very sharp.

Good looking knife
A little small for my preference but none the less a nice knife.

Can you get a better pocket knife for less money??
Answer to the question in the title, I think not. This is an excellent smaller budget pocketknife, checks all of the boxes, a pleasure to carry, and despite its smaller size, it's capable.

Nice Folder
This is a nice “gentleman’s folder” for anyone looking for a knife with good materials and build quality. It’s similar in shape to a paring knife which makes it fit the hand naturally(or at least it does in my case). Overall I’d recommend to someone looking for a simple folding knife for utilitarian purposes.

Ugly, but. . .
This knife is like the ugly duckling. To just look at it, it's not an attractive knife. But when you look beyond the fugly looks, you begin to see a beautifully flat ground spear point 154cm blade that is highly functional for edc tasks. When you get it in hand you realize the rather neutral ergos are quite comfortable. When you look at the micarta you notice, despite not being an attractive color combination, it was extremely well done. And when you are holding it and give the thumbstud the slightest of nudges and the blade flies open you then begin to see this knife turn into a Beautiful swan.

Absolutely love this knife, now
FIrst let me admit that my version suffered from 2 flaws. The overly sticky detect ball that has been reported in other reviews. Also my version only had about 20% lock up of the liner lock. However after reading one of these reviews, I pulled out my set of tiny screwdrivers and grabbled my set of inexpensive needle files. In a very few minutes I unscrewed the clip, handle and pivot screw. less than a minute and maybe 10 light strokes on the top face of the liner lock increased the overlap to about 40%. I'll let it wear in from that. Took the end of a tiny file and twirled it down in the pivot hole for, i don't know, 6-7 revolutions. I found my little pen oiler and added 3 micro dots to each of the ball bearing races. I screwed her back together (used blue lock-tite stick). Man this knife is the most perfect item in my collection. The blade action is amazing. The weight and feel is just awesome. Now I know some of you will scoff at spending money and having to fix flaws. I've never bothered to do this either, and have sent many blades back for failure to live up to my standards. But I really love this knife now. Its nearly perfect for me. I urge you fellow knife guys to give knife tweaking a try. I was lucky to have all the things necessary at my disposal, and all of 15 minutes of free time. This activity was extremely rewarding.By the way the necessary tools I used can all be bought from Amazon for ~$10 each. I have to also urge you all to get an inexpensive set of tiny files. I have use the heck out of mine for things that I would never have thought I needed a tool., and they are cheap.Hope this review encourages you all to give this PPY a real tryout.
