what size is the food

About 5mm or a little less I’d say.

Is it for human consumption???

I wouldn't. They are sold as bird seeds so they wouldn't have any safety checks as for human food stuffs.

What is the country of origin? Are these from China?

No idea best ask seller, personally I like this product as do the wildlife will and have ordered before.

Does anybody have a country of origin for these seeds?

Sorry I don't know, but I ordered mealworms from same company and discovered they were from China (I wasn't very pleased).
