Realm of the Blue Mist: A Graphic Novel (The Rema Chronicles #1)

An excellent read that is similar but unique and different from other publications like (and I am sure this is used often, so I apologize) ‘Amulet’.Great story, female lead (empowering) and superbly illustrated!

I have been a fan of Rema for so long (way back when it was a webcomic), and was so sad back then when it was stopped. And then so excited when I heard that it was going to be rereleased (been following its progress from novel to graphic novel) ! I was very happy that it's being continued as a graphic novel, as the art was one of my draws into the first iteration.The book is very high quality, with a beautiful sleeve. The art is crisp and all the colors pop. The storyline is as engrossing as it was all those years ago, with changes that make it flow even better!Honestly, I read through too fast! Book 2 soon, please? ;)

The book is very nice but the packaging was poor and got some damage in the book .... otherwise best book...

As with The Amulet, the Kibuishi family has done it again. Rema is amazing, full of thrill and wonder. If you have read “The Amulet” you might expect certain things but upon finding them you smile warmheartedly. I hope to be able to read the next one soon! :)

To my delight, it turned out to be an excellent choice. My nephew was absolutely captivated and devoured the book within hours on Christmas morning. The fact that he's now eagerly asking for the second installment is a testament to the book's appeal.When I initially purchased the novel, I searched for a sequel but couldn't find one, leading me to assume it was a standalone story. To my pleasant surprise, I've learned that there's a second book set to release soon. This unexpected continuation has only fueled my nephew's excitement, and I'm already planning to get him the next installment.While I didn't personally read the book, the smooth cover and the glimpses I caught while flicking through the pages hinted at an immersive story. As someone unfamiliar with the graphic novel world, I'm thrilled that my nephew enjoyed it so much.
