This is a decent product for the price, but be advised that they are generic and the mounts needed to be customized for my 2011 KLR 650. If you don’t have many other obstructions on your handlebars you may have better luck than me.  I have attached photos of my custom brackets to help others in my situation. If you are not comfortable having to tweak the mounts you may want to find a product specifically designed for your bike’s bars.

The images don't really sell this product. Each side weighs almost 12oz and install well with supplied parts. I'm not sure what the metal is but it seems strong. I just replaced my broken stock guards with these in about an hour. 2006 KTM 450 XCF.

Works very well and customer service is top notch. I put these on my 2002 KTM 400 EXC, but traded with my brothers 2001 Honda r400rr (or something like that) and they worked there as well with a little bending.
