Ottimo accessorio, affidabile

It works well with my 10G network and it is QUIET. Most 10G switches sound like a figher jet on steroids but this doesn't. Gets a little warm, but not extreme. I can sit beside it and not hear it. Wonderful.

Ich habe den Switch in die Kabelwanne unter meinem IKEA-Schreibtisch gelegt. Der steht zwar vorne etwas über, aber da alle Kabel auf der Vorderseite sind, liegt der an der Rückwand der Kabelwanne an und nutzt den Platz optimal aus. Da es sich um die Version V2.0R handelt (mit 5Gbit/s Unterstützung) sind die LEDs auch nicht mehr an den Buchsen, sondern links daneben angebracht, sodass ich den Linkstatus deutlich besser sehen kann als bei dem 2,5Gbit/s Switch (QNAP QSW-1105-5T) zuvor, wo man immer hin- und herschauen musste, weil die LEDs von den eingesteckten Kabeln verdeckt wurden. So sehe ich auch einen Blick, ob wie erwartet 3 Ports im Multi-Gigabit-Modus laufen (10Gbit/s Uplink, 10Gbit/s Desktop, 5Gbit/s Laptop mit USB-Adapter) und nur noch 2 mit Gigabit-Ethernet. Das Gerät wird wärmer als man sich es wünschen würde (und als der 2,5Gbit/s Vorgänger), aber er wird auch nicht "glühend heiß" - man kann die Hand auch länger drauf liegen lassen ohne dass es schmerzt. Und in der Kabelwanne mache ich mir auch keine Sorgen wegen Wärmestau.

quick ship, well packed, item is good solid build quality, and this is an affordable way to get some 10 gig networking setup for a modest requirement (small LAN / modest server network). Set up yesterday and it was all just plug-and-play. things seem to all work as expected. note there is no rack ear in the kit, this is intended as a 'desk top switch' but that is part of the deal. all good. recommended.

Works great but be warned it is supplied with and EU Power supply, you will need and adaptor or purchase a new power supply.
