Does this product have any percentage of caffeine?

The packaging I got says "no caffeine" right on the front. I think that's the point of Carob for many, it's chocolate like without the caffeine. I was specifically looking for it for that reason as well ;).

Are the carob chips still safe to eat if they arrived completely melted?

Yes, they are safe to eat. However the blocks of carob are a pain to deal with. Also, these chips have a large amount of sugar in them, so it might be wise to limit their content in any baked goods. I have eaten parts of the melted chip blocks and it's like eating melted chocolate that has formed a lump. Very inconvenient to deal with, but still edible.
