ibwaae Toddler's Wooden Peg Board Beads Game (Rainbow)

As a pediatric occupational therapist, this toy is one of my favorites! I like that there are 2 sizes of tongs to use based on my specific kiddos needs. The packaging was great and offered a nice little tote bag to store all of the colorful puff balls and tongs. My clients will sit and attend well as they work on their specific fine motor skills goals and functional skill development. My adult clients also respond well to use of this activity in their OT sessions!

Better than I hoped. It’s a nice size. Lots of pompoms.

Purchased for 5yr old autistic child (evaluated to be at 2.5 yrs development) for fine motor skills development. Very cute but. .1) the wells in the wooden base are not deep enough so the colored puffs don't stay put . 2)the balls are those fuzzy little craft balls, they have no weight so the just roll everywhere. 3) the tweezer & the tongs are bamboo & have rough edges so the fuzzy balls get caught up on them. Frustrating... I thought maybe it was her abilities but I'm 60 & couldn't successfully place the pieces...we will keep trying...(FYI, the listing shows a wooden bowl holding the fuzzies. It was not included.)The pros were that it did come in a very nice ( cardboard) box with a nice cloth bag for the fuzzies which made it giftable.

I’m so excited to introduce this to my 2 year old! I love how it came with 2 different levels of squeezing support tools (one is pretty easy to use & one requires more grip strength). I used acrylic paint to outline the rainbow, since we’re still working on that skill & my goal is to have him “play” as independently as he’d like.

The item is great. The quality of the balls is decent. The wood is solid and sturdy. Only con is the size. It is much smaller than expected.
