Echo 99944200907b New Genuine Speed Feed 400 Head fits All SRM Trimmers

I wish I would’ve had something like this when I bought the edger years ago. It took about three minutes to put on and I was immediately out edging. It does a fantastic job of keeping about 4 to 6 inches of line out each side and is an absolute game changer when it comes to saving time because you don’t have to get in there and constantly tap to feed the line. I can’t express enough how amazing this thing is and how much time it saved me edging the grass yesterday. I have to cut about 400-500 yards around our property and down our driveway and it took me less than 10 minutes to do the whole thing and I never had to stop once to re-feed line or refill.

Fantastic trimmer head "Echo Speed Feed 400" very solid made and works on most all trimmers gas or battery Stihl, Husqvarna, Echo, Redmax, Shindaiwa excetra as long as you also purchase on Amazon the YGQ trimmer head adapter kit there is a couple videos on Youtube showing how to replace your trimmer head. I put it on my Husqvarna 525LST Mark 2 and it was a breeze to install it. I also have a Stihl FS 91 R and it will also work on it but, I already bought and installed Stihl's version of a speed feed head. The nuts in the trimmer head adapter kit are as follows Silver (Husqvarna) Red (Redmax/Echo) Green and Black I'm thinking fits Stihl trimmers just pop out the brass nut and swap with another color until you get the right threads on your trimmer's drive head shaft. Keep in mind in order to remove the head on your trimmer and reinstall this head you will need a round little bar to stick into the purpose driven hole at the top of your trimmer's drive head in order to loosen the head you may stick it in there then (most likely) turn the trim head counterclockwise to loosen. Swap the nut and you may need the large black spacer, it looks like a washer kinda place that on before the new trim head after replacing the nut ine the head to the correct ine that fits your trimmer put the Echo Speed Feed 400 back together and your golden ready to rip that grass up also, the bump head if you watch "Chicanic" on Youtube she and another video I watched suggested that if you burn through your bump head there is a new replacement maybe even on here where you only need to buy the bump cover, instead of replacing the whole trimmer head assembly. Great trimmer head easy to install on my Dewalt dcst925 and works great. Received 5 days after ordering highly recommend this product for use on a Dewalt dcst925. I have not used up the line it came with yet,as it seems very durable, so I can't comment on the ease of refilling but by watching the videos of how , I am confident I will love it. (I will have to source the line as well because it seems better that what I have been using) Absolutely no complaints so far.

Fits my Echo really well. After the original broke, I used a replacement head from one of the other sources on here, and lemme say the Chinesium metal and plastic lasted barely a season. It's worth a little more to get a genuine model on this and this one is much sturdier. Easy to install and reload.

DID NOT COME WITH THE SPRING INSTALLED!! Unit installed easily. Tried it out and noted line would run out and get cut off randomly. Did not think much about it as only used it briefly until I used it to edge the driveways which is when I noticed that anytime the head made contact with the ground, line would come out and be cut off...didn't take long before I needed to replace the line. It was then I noted that I could not line the "holes" up. I took it apart and the spring was missing!!! So, I went to Home Depot and bought one for $4 more with a spring!! All is not lost as I will keep the parts and use it when this one is worn out.

This doesn’t fit a Stihl straight shaft. You will need to order the green adapter for that. Once I got a green adapter which is not included this worked great. Easy to load. It doesn’t always feed out more on the bump, but pretty consistent. I would suggest ordering g the universal version to be sure the adapter for your trimmer is included. I bought the correct adapter separately and it was the same cost as the universal version. Happy I purchased though. I have 2 acres and trim everytime I mow. This is so much better when you are out of line than the Stihl trimmer head.

Works great good product

This trimmer head works great! Here at Brute Speed LLC, we have a lot of trimming to do around the shop and the pond, and the original trimmer head finally wore out after many years of use. This replacement trimmer head fit perfectly and disperses the line like it did when the trimmer was new.

OEM. Works as it should. . Installs easily.

All those Hyundai heads broke down; this one is going strong.

Fit and function as original

I bought this as the product was said to fit all SRM models. However the screw thread is much bigger than the thread on my Echo SRM 345SL so it is completely useless to me.
